We are committed to providing a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and delivers exceptional dental services in a fast-paced, friendly setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist dentists during various procedures, including chairside assisting, taking vital signs, and preparing dental materials.</li><li>Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging tools following strict infection control and aseptic techniques.</li><li>Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and updating medical records in EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.</li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical documentation with care.</li><li>Take and develop dental X-rays while maintaining proper safety protocols.</li><li>Support pediatric dentistry procedures by engaging young patients and understanding pediatric-specific dental terminology.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and anatomy knowledge requirements.</li><li>Handle administrative duties such as answering phones as a dental receptionist, managing medical records, coding procedures accurately, and coordinating with insurance providers.</li><li>Collaborate with the team on four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during patient care.</li><li>Assist with general dentistry procedures, including prosthodontics and endodontics, ensuring optimal patient comfort and safety.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is required, demonstrating familiarity with dental assisting techniques and front desk responsibilities.</li><li>Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is essential for managing patient data effectively.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques is mandatory to ensure compliance and safety.</li><li>Experience with X-ray procedures, medical imaging, 3D scanners, and medical documentation enhances your ability to support diverse dental treatments.</li><li>Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and terminology is highly desirable to cater to young patients effectively.</li><li>Strong understanding of dental terminology across specialties like prosthodontics and endodontics will support comprehensive patient care delivery.</li><li>Ability to perform vital signs assessment and basic medical documentation ensures thorough patient evaluation.
