A Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring a high standard of clean, consistent, and uniform rooms to assure the highest degree of quality to achieve above satisfactory guest care.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities &middot; Clean hotel rooms neatly and efficiently including making beds with clean linens, replenishing supplies, vacuum, dust furniture, and all other cleaning duties necessary or assigned.&middot; Maintain neat and clean housekeeping carts, equipment, storage rooms, and supplies.&middot; Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards guests and coworkers.&middot; Complete deep room cleaning when assigned by the Head Housekeeper or General Manager&middot; Respect all hotel equipment and property and use with care to avoid unnecessary damage.&middot; Ensure guests&rsquo; property found is logged and turned into management&middot; Follow all OSHA and hotel guidelines for the safe handling of all housekeeping chemicals and equipment&middot; Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with other housekeeping employees, Front Desk, Head Housekeeper, and General Manager&middot; Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment&middot; Communicate to General Manager all occurrences involving staff/guests that require attention&middot; All Other duties as assigned by the Head Housekeeper or General Manager.Key Competencies&middot; Accountability&middot; Professionalism in both verbal and written communications&middot; Operational functions and minor Administrative functions&middot; Excellent Customer/Guest Service&middot; Ability to work alongside employees efficiently regardless of their individual status or cultural diversity&middot; Able to exercise confidentiality of all hotel and employee aspectsPhysical Requirements&middot; Constant and repetitive movements of fingers, hands, and wrists&middot; Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel on a continual basis&middot; Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours&middot; Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistanceJob Type: Part-timePay: $11.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
