<div></div><div><div><div>The Modeling and Simulation (M&amp;S) Specialist will primarily focus on MAGTF-level simulation systems and will cross train into other M&amp;S simulation systems as required. The M&amp;S Specialist reports to and receives work direction from the Project Manager through the local Company Site Lead. The M&amp;S Specialist will perform the following duties:</div>
<div></div><div><b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></div>
<ul><li>Operate, provide instruction, and maintain various training to simulation models with respect to a functional area of operations, with respect to billet assignment and contractor&rsquo;s personal military background (e.g., logistics).</li>
<li>Provide analysis of assigned functional area and identify strengths and weaknesses as they occur during a simulation-supported event.</li>
<li>Maintain proficiency as an M&amp;S Specialist and cross-train into other simulation systems as assigned.</li>
<li>As new simulation models or upgrades to current simulation models are introduced, the M&amp;S section is required to train, operate, and maintain the new model or upgrade.</li>
<li>Participate in Exercise Development and perform duties as the TECG lead planner for exercises as assigned.</li>
<li>Research documents and extracts or factual data for composition of military forces for a model/simulation.</li>
<li>Participate in and conducts reviews and structured walk-through of simulation events and training, operation orders and plans, and information gathering requirements.</li>
<li>Provide analysis during exercises and attends conferences and meetings at both the resident site and other locations off-site.</li>
<li>Translate operations orders into simulation databases.</li>
<li>Conduct pre-event tests and evaluation of supporting databases, and parametric data.</li>
<li>Conduct post-event critique and analysis employing various after-action review systems.</li>
<li>Capture and report training system utilization data.</li>
<li>Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.</li>
</ul><div><b>EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</b></div>
<ul><li>High school diploma</li>
<li>Minimum five years of operational experience in logistics, with a focus on Division or higher operations.</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the Division/MEB or above, as measured by actual operational force employment experience.</li>

<ul><li>Work is conducted on site, in a government facility.</li>
<li>Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus.</li>
<li>May be required to lift, carry and move computer and associated equipment.</li>
<li>Be able to work an unstable schedule, to include holidays and weekends in support of exercises. Exercises often require shifts of 12-14 hrs per day, 7 days a week for the duration of the exercise, which normally are 1-3 weeks in length.</li>

<div><ul><li><p>Provide Cyber Security technical and management support to MSTP, ensuring compliance with the RMF, NIST, DoD and Marine Corps standards to establish or sustain ATOs.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Deliver cybersecurity and IA training, guidance, and reporting for MSTP personnel; monitor and report compliance with MCCOG/MCEN Operational Directives (OPDRs).</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain POA&amp;Ms, ensuring timely remediation of client, server, and network vulnerabilities through automated scanning tools and manual compliance checks.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Implement IAVAs, OPDIRs, DISA STIGs, patches, and industry best practices to maintain cybersecurity compliance across BSC/CAST information, C2, and simulation systems.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Configure, operate, and troubleshoot HBSS client/server policies for compliance and support SIEM deployment for monitoring and reporting.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Draft and submit cybersecurity incident/violation reports and verify personnel certification compliance (DoD 8570/8140, SECNAV M5239.2, ECSM 024).</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Maintain DIACAP/RMF A&amp;A documentation, ensure accurate MCCAST submissions, and preserve historical security records.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Support CIS Lead with daily operations, IT services for MAGTF exercises, and the development/maintenance of security, governance, and system documentation.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Assist in producing briefs, reports, AARs, and configuration management materials, and contribute to IT/C2 policies, SOPs, and TTPs.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Oversee equipment issue/recovery, inventory accuracy, purchasing documentation, ticket management, and budget tracking.</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Monitor MCEN reporting requirements, compile data, and draft responses to HQMC C4 data calls (OpDirs, CTOs, ETSM2).</p>
</li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p>Represent MSTP CIS in meetings and working groups, support event reviews and walkthroughs, and serve as acting CIS Lead when required.</p>
