<div>Position Description: The primary function of the Towing Dispatcher is to receive and dispatch emergency and routine calls for towing, roadside service, recovery and transportation. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Towing Manager.<br>

<div><b>Essential Job Functions:
</b></div><ul><li>Dispatch drivers.
</li><li>Maintain and confirm schedules.
</li><li>Collect and maintain paperwork.
</li><li>Oversee on-time dispatch requirements.
</li><li>Work with local and State law enforcement agencies to ensure that they have everything they need.
</li><li>Track driver pickups throughout the workday.
</li><li>Ensure paperwork is complete prior to dispatch and upon return.
</li><li>Follow up to ensure accurate communication with internal and external staff members.
</li><li>Anticipate potential problems and create contingency plans.
</li><li>Able to multitask in a loud, fast paced, high call volume environment with frequent interruptions.
</li><li>Able to learn software for data entry and reports and follow instruction.
</li><li>Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.
</li><li>Able to effectively perform responsibilities under a high level of stress.
</li><li>Regular interaction with peers on-site, including face-to-face meetings and spontaneous conferences.
</li><li>Must be flexible and available to work afternoons and weekends.
</li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills with a calm demeanor towards customers and co-workers.
</li><li>Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work.
</li><li>Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
</li><li>Perform any duties as may be assigned.</li></ul><div><br>

Qualifications/Experience/Education:
</b></div><ul><li>High School graduate or equivalent required.
</li><li>2+ years of dispatch experience preferred.
</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, for data entry.
</li><li>Must have attention to detail, planning and organizational skills.
</li><li>Strong communication skills &ndash; verbal and written.
</li><li>Proficient in GPS tracking programs.
</li><li>Good knowledge of vehicles and local geography.
</li><li>Able to pass 7-year criminal background check.</li></ul><div><br>
