JOB SUMMARY:
Product Owner is responsible for guiding the development of our technology product suite as well as support the CorroHealth enterprise through its ongoing Transformation Initiatives. The Product Owner works with architects and development teams to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met with each product release. The Product Owner is responsible for translating the product vision into actionable tasks and is responsible for the usability, quality, and delivery of these products and features. The Product Owner can effectively coordinate with both engineering and business team stakeholders and is ultimately responsible for representing the needs of the end-user.
 
 
Product Owner will collaborate with Global teams, flexibility in schedule will be necessary as needed.
 
 
Est. Travel Requirement: International travel semi-annually, Domestic Travel quarterly

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Product Owner, Hospital/Provider Revenue Cycle
<ul><li>Collaborate with product architect, business stakeholders, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into user stories for the development teams to implement</li><li>
Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation</li><li>
Work with project managers and technical leads to determine scope and priorities for product development cycles</li><li>
Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision for the product</li><li>
Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features, so the development teams clearly understand them</li><li>
Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency</li><li>
Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product</li><li>
Work with key stakeholders across the company to ensure successful product releases</li><li>
Oversee development sprint planning cycles and delivery of product releases with the development team</li><li>
Product backlog grooming</li><li>
Project scheduling and project management</li><li>
Write and/or confirm the integrity of acceptance tests</li><li>
Obtain buy-in from stakeholders in a matrixed organization</li></ul>
Enterprise Change Advisory Board (CAB) Team Member<ul><li>
Collaborate with Information Technology and Application Development teams within CorroHealth regarding the ongoing roll-out of Agile throughout the enterprise, and provide feedback on proposed initiatives</li><li>
Provide counsel to the corporate Enterprise CAB regarding product ordering and grooming</li><li>
Assist other business stakeholders in standing up a groomed product backlog and share the methodology thereof</li><li>
Attend meetings and conference calls related to organizational Agile transformation and provide feedback, guidance, and support where requested by Enterprise CAB management</li></ul>
EDUCATION:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s Degree, or equivalent experience</li></ul>
EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business/Data Analyst in a high-volume business environment</li><li>
3 + years Agile business process and workflow experience</li><li>
5+ years of experience managing hospital/physician&rsquo;s revenue cycle</li><li>
Experience with AI integration into Revenue Cycle Management software solutions</li><li>
Experience with UI Path and Robotic Process Automation</li><li>
Experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating leadership skills required</li><li>
Experience working in a professional office environment; working with all levels of management required</li><li>
Experience working in a matrixed organization</li><li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Excellent presentation and communication skills</li><li>

JOB SUMMARY:
Assist the Director of HIM in preparing claim audits, reviewing and recommending coding, revenue cycle and charge/billing changes on client hospital outpatient and Profee claims using proprietary software product. Use software to develop standardized reports, meet with clients, respond to coding questions in clear, concise, grammatically correct English, and provide support for other members of the revenue cycle consulting team. Client education, written FAQ answer preparation, and other duties as assigned. 
 
MUST HAVE: 
Active AAPC or AHIMA coding certification (CPC, COC, CIC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA) - cannot be &quot;apprentice&quot; certification (i.e.: CPC-A) 
Coding and/or auditing experience - OP facility (ER, I&amp;I, OBS, SDS, E/M facility) and Profee; IP facility coding is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
5+ years of current directly related experience</li><li>
Expert knowledge in revenue cycle and Outpatient coding (ER, SDS, OBS, ancillary, IR, Profee, E/M facility, I&amp;I)</li><li>
CCS, COC or CPC certification required</li><li>
Medical Terminology and anatomy knowledge is required</li><li>
Clinical Documentation and Inpatient coding experience is preferred. New hires will be expected to learn IP during employment.</li><li>
Must have strong understanding of revenue cycle, CMS Manual/guidelines, Medicaid guidelines.</li><li>
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and OneNote skills</li><li>
Must have strong understanding of the Official Coding Guidelines, OP coding and billing (i.e. including but not limited to knowledge of rev codes, HCPCS, MUE and CCI edits, UoS and ICD-10 CM)</li><li>

Become proficient in the use of the PARA Data Editor, our proprietary software;</li><li>
Select and review claims for review based on trends/data analysis in the PARA Data Editor; organize information and access to medical documentation.</li><li>
Audit all aspects of claim including (but not limited to):</li></ul><ul><li>Omitted or incorrect charges,</li><li>Review OPPS and CAH charges and apply guidelines.</li><li>CMS/Payer specific guidelines</li><li>Coding accuracy for ICD-10 CM, CPT/HCPCS (including but not</li></ul>
limited to 10000-69999, 80000, 90000, J codes, G codes, Q codes,etc)<ul><li>Departmental review for inaccuracies, omitted data/documentation</li></ul>
and charges<ul><li>NCCI edits, MUE edits, Medi-cal and Medicare guidelines/CMS</li></ul>
Manual guidance,<ul><li>Units of services</li><li>E/M Profee/Facility</li><li>Units of services</li><li>Documentation improvement.</li></ul><ul><li>
Assist in preparing written documents for publication under the direction of the Director, HIM, i.e., Q&amp;A entries.</li><li>
Develop a working understanding of the outpatient hospital reimbursement process, including documentation, coding, and billing.</li><li>
Participate in presentations to clients and prospective clients, typically over web meetings.</li><li>
Develop and maintain the skills and knowledge necessary related to the assigned specialty areas and the related services. Keep current on all related information from journals and bulletins. Distribute and pass on all necessary materials, including copying for reference files when relevant.</li><li>
Maintain current certifications and accreditations (as applicable).</li><li>
Research new guidelines, data elements, payer specifications, etc.</li><li>
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.</li></ul>
