Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding techniques, sheet metal work, and the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products while adhering to safety protocols.Responsibilities<ul><li>Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques.</li><li>Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.</li><li>Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and joining materials.</li><li>Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and standards for quality assurance.</li><li>Perform inspections of completed work to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety guidelines.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.</li><li>Experience with sheet metal fabrication and ductwork assembly is preferred.</li><li>Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.</li><li>Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to welding and fabrication processes.</li><li>Ability to operate power tools safely, including saws, grinders, and drills.</li><li>Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.</li></ul>If you are passionate about metal fabrication and welding, possess the required skills, and are looking for an opportunity to grow within a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply for this position as a Fabricator/Welder.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
