 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide care according to physician&rsquo;s instruction and in accordance with recognized techniques and procedures and established standards and policies to maintain the health and general well-being of the patient.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide preoperative and postoperative teaching for both patient and family members.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide assistance during surgery or other procedures as indicated.
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up the patient for surgery including prepping area, draping with sterile drapes, setting up a clean tray with anesthesia, and preparing instruments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Scrub in as assistant to the surgeons.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hand instruments and cut sutures, keep the operative area clean and organized.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare equipment and paperwork for surgery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Rooming &amp; completing patient intake/obtaining HPI.
 </li>
 <li>
 Scribing while assisting with exams; attention to detail is key.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draw blood from patients when needed for cosmetic procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Label sterile containers for other samples, such as urine, and instruct patients on proper collection procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Enter sample information into a database.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assemble, maintain, and dispose of medical instruments such as needles, test tubes, and blood vials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary.

 Qualifications

 2 or more years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery office is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Perform aesthetic treatments including injectables (neuromodulators, fillers) and laser procedures, in accordance with clinical protocols and scope of practice</li><li>
Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, assessments, and develop customized treatment plans</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing courteous, timely, and professional communication from initial inquiry through post-treatment follow-up;</li><li>
Coordinate patient scheduling, consultations, and appointments in collaboration with medical providers to ensure efficient clinical operations;</li><li>
Collect and verify patient demographic, medical history, and consent information in compliance with HIPAA and other applicable privacy law.</li><li>
Prepare and organize patient charts and records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system prior to clinical encounters.</li><li>
Provide patients with information regarding available aesthetic services, procedures, pre- and post-treatment care instructions, and expected outcomes, as directed by licensed providers.</li><li>
Support patients in understanding treatment plans and assist in addressing non-clinical questions or concerns;</li><li>
Ensure patients are informed of fees, payment options, and applicable policies in a clear and professional manner.</li><li>
Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and management to support seamless care delivery;</li><li>
Maintain and update patient records accurately and confidentially in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements;</li><li>
Assist in managing provider schedules, treatment room readiness, and inventory of supplies to support operational efficiency;</li><li>
Process patient payments, invoices, and financial transactions in accordance with practice policy and applicable law.</li><li>
Adhere to all practice policies, procedures, and professional standards, including infection control, patient confidentiality, and workplace safety protocols;</li><li>
Assist with maintaining compliance documentation and audit readiness, including patient consent forms and recordkeeping;</li><li>
Promptly report any adverse events, patient complaints, or operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor or compliance officer.</li><li>

Qualifications:<ul><li> Valid Aesthetician License.</li><li> Minimum of 3 years of experience in the aesthetics field, with a proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal client base.</li><li> Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients, educate them on treatments, and provide clear follow-through on their care plans.</li><li> Experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery environment is preferred.</li><li> Proficient in performing consultations, cross-promoting services and skincare products, and demonstrating the ability to close sales effectively.</li><li> Hands-on experience with a wide range of treatments, including facials, chemical peels, Dermaplaning, and advanced procedures such as cosmetic lasers, light-based therapy, micro-needling, and/or CoolSculpting.</li><li> Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatment protocols to recommend the best options for each client&rsquo;s unique needs.</li></ul> 
Compensation:
The salary for this position starts at $25/hour, depending on experience, with additional performance-based incentives and benefits.
