POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Global Sourcing Specialist provides project and administrative support and works with the Global Sourcing Manager to ensure proper execution of the production plan. A successful Sourcing Specialist will exhibit timely and accurate project management leadership, coordination, transactional work processing, outstanding cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers, proactive communication, and timely follow-up to ensure completion of critical tasks and projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

&middot; Assist Manager with Bidding &amp; Quoting process, communication, document flow; set up meetings and coordinating completed documents. &middot; Ensures proper setup, accuracy and maintenance of Vendor Quote, Business Information Sheet and supporting documents. &middot; Project Management: Supports multiple projects at one time, owned by the Global Sourcing manager. &middot; Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and provide analysis as necessary for managing projects. &middot; Assists managers with searches and identify potential new vendors based on category. &middot; Audits procurement execution to make sure it aligns with sourcing plan. &middot; Analyzes and summarizes forecasts based on trends. &middot; Assesses quotes and compiles a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns assigned by the Sourcing Managers. &middot; Vendor management system (VMS) compliance: &middot; Maintains vendors catalog, ensuring up-to-date costing, VMCs, conversions, and lead times. &middot; Achieves and sustains 99% compliance in catalog accuracy. &middot; Maintains a contract database and provides required scheduled and on demand reporting. &middot; Supports the evaluation of market conditions and risk management plans. &middot; Monitors and evaluate vendor performance utilizing established processes and systems. &middot; With the support of the Global Sourcing Manger, meets and develops business relationships with suppliers including in-person meetings and supplier events.

DUTIES (Secondary 20%)
<ul><li>Coordinates contractual support and additional duties as required.</li></ul>

QUALIFICATIONS
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain or related field preferred.</li></ul>
<ul><li>2+ years of experience in a Supply Chain role.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Working knowledge and comfortable using AI solutions software (ChatGPT/Copilot)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Working knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).</li></ul>
<ul><li>Excellent organization and time management skills.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to problem solve and interact with all levels of management.</li></ul>
<ul><li>A strong analytical mindset.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Active driver&rsquo;s license required and ability to submit to MVR check.</li></ul>

WORKING CONDITIONS &amp; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
