About usStorage Rack Engineering, Inc. is seeking an experienced High-Pile Fire Engineer or Fire Technician to prepare high-pile storage submittals, fire-code reports, and AutoCAD drawings for jurisdictions across the United States. This is a remote per-diem position with flexible hours and steady project-based work.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Prepare High-Pile Storage Permit packages for cities nationwide</li><li>Perform commodity classification, hazard analysis, and fire-code calculations based on local requirements</li><li>Produce AutoCAD high-pile layout drawings</li><li>Coordinate with internal engineers, clients, and city plan reviewers</li><li>Ensure compliance with IFC and city-specific high-pile standards</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience with High-Pile Storage, fire prevention requirements, or fire protection engineering</li><li>Strong AutoCAD skills (required)</li><li>Knowledge of IFC High-Pile Storage regulations</li><li>Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines</li><li>PE license not required&mdash;experience with high-pile is most important</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>$80-$100 per hour (per diem / project-based)</li><li>Remote, flexible work</li><li>Opportunity for ongoing long-term assignments across all 50 states</li></ul>If you have experience preparing high-pile fire submittals and want ongoing flexible work with a leading engineering firm, we&rsquo;d love to connect with you.Apply now on Indeed.Job Type: TemporaryPay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hourWork Location: Remote
