Buyer &amp; Showroom CoordinatorHouse Sprucing | Carrollton, TXHouse Sprucing is a full-service interior design firm specializing in thoughtfully curated homes through new construction, remodels, furnishings, and styling. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as our Buyer &amp; Showroom Coordinator.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, purchasing, inventory management, vendor communication, and helping keep projects moving behind the scenes. The right candidate is dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts.You will play a key role in supporting our design team by purchasing products, tracking orders, coordinating deliveries and installations, managing inventory, and helping maintain our showroom.ResponsibilitiesPurchasing &amp; Order Management<ul><li>Place and manage orders for client design projects and showroom inventory.</li><li>Review and organize order acknowledgements, invoices, and vendor confirmations.</li><li>Track order statuses and maintain accurate purchasing records.</li><li>Communicate order updates, delays, and lead times to the design team.</li><li>Follow up with vendors regarding availability, shipping, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Maintain organized spreadsheets and records for all purchases and client items.</li></ul>Vendor Communication<ul><li>Serve as a primary point of contact for furniture, lighting, d&eacute;cor, and accessory vendors.</li><li>Build and maintain positive relationships with vendor representatives.</li><li>Request pricing, availability, lead times, and product information.</li><li>Coordinate vendor presentations and showroom visits.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Receiving<ul><li>Receive and inspect incoming deliveries.</li><li>Unbox, label, tag, and organize showroom accessories and merchandise.</li><li>Track inventory and maintain accurate records of product locations.</li><li>Update inventory information in Shopify and internal tracking systems.</li><li>Assist with inventory counts and showroom organization.</li></ul>Claims &amp; Problem Resolution<ul><li>File and manage freight damage claims, manufacturer defects, and missing item claims.</li><li>Coordinate replacement orders and vendor resolutions.</li><li>Track all claims through completion and maintain detailed records.</li></ul>Delivery &amp; Installation Coordination<ul><li>Schedule furniture deliveries and client installations.</li><li>Coordinate logistics between vendors, warehouses, installers, and clients.</li><li>Prepare installation documentation and product lists.</li><li>Ensure all items are received and ready prior to installation day.</li></ul>Showroom Support<ul><li>Welcome walk-in customers, clients, and vendor representatives.</li><li>Answer showroom phone calls and assist with general inquiries.</li><li>Maintain the organization and appearance of the showroom.</li><li>Assist with merchandising and accessory placement throughout the showroom.</li><li>Support the design team during installations, photoshoots, and special events as needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>2+ years of experience in purchasing, retail operations, inventory management, customer service, administrative support, or a related field.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.</li><li>Comfortable working with spreadsheets and detailed tracking systems.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.</li><li>Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.</li><li>Experience with Shopify, inventory management, or the interior design industry is a plus but not required.</li></ul>The Ideal Candidate<ul><li>Loves organization and keeping things on track.</li><li>Enjoys communicating with vendors and solving problems.</li><li>Has strong follow-through and attention to detail.</li><li>Is comfortable balancing administrative and hands-on responsibilities.</li><li>Takes pride in maintaining an organized workspace.</li><li>Works well independently while also supporting a collaborative team.</li><li>Is dependable, proactive, and service-oriented.</li></ul>Position Details<ul><li>Full-Time</li><li>In-Person Position</li><li>Carrollton, TX</li><li>Compensation: $55,000&ndash;$60,000 based on experience</li></ul>To apply, please send your resume and a brief introduction explaining your relevant experience and why you'd be a great fit for House Sprucing.Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) 3% Match</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
