We operate 10 Country Stores throughout Washington and Montana. It is essential for all staff to provide friendly, quality service to customers.JOB DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Greet and interact with customers.</li><li>Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise.</li><li>Assist with customers&rsquo; orders by loading and unloading products as needed.</li><li>Maintain product stock in the store and warehouse.</li><li>Assemble products and displays.</li><li>Deliver products to customer delivery points.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on equipment (delivery truck, forklift, etc.) and facilities.</li><li>Dispense propane and kerosene.</li><li>Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks.</li><li>Safely and regularly operate a vehicle to make deliveries, visit various worksites, other businesses or customer locations.</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment.</li><li>Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills.</li><li>Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships.</li><li>Practice punctual and reliable attendance.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>JOB REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.</li><li>Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record.</li><li>Demonstrate strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Physical ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stoop and kneel frequently</li><li>Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 60 pounds.</li><li>Professional appearance and demeanor.</li><li>Commitment to excellence and high standards.</li><li>Proven track record of being dependable and reliable.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office.</li></ul>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license (or 18 years of age with a valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license) to operate a commercial motor vehicle (10,001 lbs. GVWR).</li><li>Be able to obtain a Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Certificate for the operation of a commercial motor vehicle.</li><li>Experience working in a retail setting.</li><li>Product knowledge in one or more of the following areas: feed, seed, pet food &amp; supplies, hardware, fencing, animal health, tack, clothing &amp; footwear, lawn &amp; garden or wild bird supplies.</li><li>Experience dispensing propane cylinders.</li><li>Experience safely operating pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.</li></ul>SCHEDULEThis is a full time, 40 hours per week position (schedule will vary). Sunday through Saturday. Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS$17.25 - $21.00/hour.
