<div>Country View Family Farms is seeking a dedicated Nursery Team Lead to oversee daily operations of our nursery swine farm in Modoc, IN. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring animal well-being, operational efficiency, and team development while upholding the highest standards of safety, biosecurity, and animal care.

What You'll Do
<ul>
<li>Manage daily and weekly schedules for nursery staff</li>
<li>Oversee feeding processes to maximize nursery performance</li>
<li>Order and maintain farm supplies and equipment</li>
<li>Implement and monitor safety and biosecurity protocols</li>
<li>Train and mentor Nursery Technicians in proper animal husbandry practices</li>
<li>Partner with management and HR on staffing, training, and performance evaluations</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with environmental, animal welfare and company standards</li>
</ul>
What We're Looking For:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED (preferred)</li>
<li>1-2 years experience in animal agriculture or farm management (or equivalent training)</li>
<li>Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Team oriented leader with a commitment to animal care</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in farm conditions (hot/cold, dusty, noisy environments)</li>
<li>Willingness to follow strict biosecurity and animal welfare requirements</li>

As Assistant Sow Farm Manager, you&rsquo;ll be the on-site leader ensuring smooth daily operations. You will:

</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare standards.
</li>
<li>Collaborate with regional managers and service teams on health, throughput, and long-term planning.

We&rsquo;re seeking a hands-on leader with a passion for livestock production and team development. You should have:

<li>Previous livestock management experience (swine management preferred).
</li>
<li>An Associate&rsquo;s degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Livestock Production, or equivalent (or 5+ years of relevant experience).
</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make real-time decisions and drive improvements.
</li>
<li>A collaborative leadership style that motivates and supports your team.
</li>
<li>The physical ability to thrive in a barn environment (lifting up to 50 lbs, working on your feet most of the day).
</li>
<li>A commitment to ethical animal care, biosecurity, and safety standards.
</li>
