QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>CALIFORNIA BAR LICENSE: active and in good standing</li><li>EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience in civil litigation such as business, real estate, insurance, employment, personal injury, or consumer. To provide context, here&rsquo;s an overview of our sub-practice areas:</li><li>Business Litigation: Business contracts, partner disputes, breach of contract &amp; fraud, debt collection &amp; debt negotiation</li><li>Real Estate Litigation: Construction disputes, purchase &amp; sale disputes, co-ownership disputes</li><li>EDUCATION: JD from an accredited law school.</li><li>LOCATION: Live and work experience in LA County.</li><li>COMMUNICATION: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>CHARACTER:</li><li>Detailed oriented, diligent, and able to &quot;hit the ground running.&quot;</li><li>Accept criticism and direction well.</li><li>Ability to think and act independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving skills and work ethic.</li><li>Professional appearance.</li><li>TECHNOLOGY: Advanced skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe, Dropbox, Zoom, Slack, Asana, Lexis, Rutters Guides. Home office in a quiet professional location (no background noise).</li><li>REFERENCES: Trustworthy, dependable, and clear background report.</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES:Applicants must have experience and the ability to complete the following independently:<ul><li>RESEARCH, DRAFTING, &amp; DOCUMENTATION</li><li>Review case files including intakes, court case summaries, court filings, evidence, etc.</li><li>Legal Research Memos using: Rutter&rsquo;s Guides, Annotated Codes, LexisNexis, Google, etc.</li><li>Draft and respond to legal documents:</li><li>Demand letters</li><li>Pleadings</li><li>Trial Documents: Briefs, Witness Lists, and Exhibit Lists</li><li>Document billable hours per client per month pursuant to approved budgets.</li></ul>HOW TO APPLY:1.
