 The County of Volusia is seeking a Library Specialist for the Ormond Beach Regional Library. This position is in the Youth Services Section. Duties include planning and presenting programs, serving library users at the Youth Services public service desk, one of two full-service desks in the Ormond Beach Library. Duties also include assisting children on the public access computers, as well as collection management and maintenance.

 Uses the integrated library system, online databases, the Internet, electronic catalog, and other library equipment, software, or hardware.

 Minimum Requirements
 
 
 
 Graduation from an accredited two (2) year college with an Associate of Arts degree or the equivalent (60 credits), plus one year of paraprofessional library work;

 , three (3) years of experience as a Library Assistant or equivalent.
 
 
 A comparable amount of experience, education, and training may substitute for the minimum qualifications.
