<p>We are seeking an experienced Electrical Subject Matter Expert to join our team at our Ashburn location. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mission Critical/Data Center projects, be comfortable working directly with customers, and have a strong background in design and construction administration.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions</li>
<li>Lead the design of electrical systems for Mission Critical/Data Center projects</li>
<li>Manage construction administration tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget</li>
<li>Review electrical testing reports and provide feedback to ensure compliance with industry standards</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Skills and Qualifications</b><b>:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering OR RELATED EXPERIENCE</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on Mission Critical/Data Center projects</li>
<li>Strong communication and customer-facing skills</li>
<li>Ability to lead design teams and manage construction administration tasks</li>
<li>Experience reviewing electrical testing reports and ensuring compliance</li>
<li>Possesses knowledge of engineering code and standards</li>
<li><b>Must be a US Citizen</b></li>
<li>10% travel</li>
<li>Hybrid in office and work remote from home office flexibility</li>
</ul><div><b>Essential Duties:</b></div>
<ul><li>Performs engineering analyses, evaluations and research studies on small and large facilities</li>
<li>Prepares reports on design, construction, maintenance and operational issues/problems within facilities and systems infrastructure</li>
<li>Provides electrical engineering and technical support to electrical/mechanical technicians, engineers and process control personnel in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of complex equipment such as electrical switchgear (low through high voltage), pump/motor controllers, redundant power and distribution systems, as well as process instrumentation, programmable controllers, and communications equipment</li>
<li>Conducts field surveys to review and record existing project conditions</li>
<li>Consults with various departments, manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and contractors on product quality assurance issues and technology advancements</li>
<li>Leads engineers and other technical personnel in the development and design of varied complex projects
</li><li>Inspects electrical construction work in progress and upon completion for adherence to plans and specifications.</li>
</ul><div>Computer Skills<b>:</b></div>
<ul><li>MS Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SKM</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div>Certificates and Licenses<b>:</b></div>
<ul><li>Professional Engineering license preferred.</li>
