</div><div><ul><li>Design, Develop, and unit test new or existing ETL/Data Integration solutions to meet business requirements.</li>
<li>Daily production support for Enterprise Data Warehouse including ETL/ELT jobs.</li>
<li>Design and Develop data integration/engineering workflows on big data technologies and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, MongoDB, Druid)</li>
<li>Develop data streams using Apache Spark, Nifi and/or Kafka. Strong Python development for data transfers and extractions (ELT or ETL)</li>
<li>Develop workflows in the cloud environment using Cloud base architecture (Azure or AWS)</li>
<li>Develop dataflows and processes for the Data Warehouse using SQL (Oracle, Postgres, HIVEQL, SparkSQL &amp; Dataframes)</li>
<li>Perform data analysis &amp; model prototyping using Spark/Python/SQL and common data science tools &amp; libraries (e.g. NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow)</li>
<li>Develop Data integration workflows using Web services in XML, JSON, flat file format, SOAP</li>
<li>Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues such as data quality.</li>
<li>Deliver increased productivity and effectiveness through rapid delivery of high-quality applications.</li>
<li>Provide work estimates and communicate status of assignments.</li>
<li>Assist in QA efforts on tasks by providing input for test cases and supporting test case execution.</li>
<li>Analyze transaction errors, troubleshoot issues in the software, develop bug-fixes, involved in performance tuning efforts.</li>
<li>Makes some independent decisions and recommendations which affect the section, department and/or division.</li>
<li>Participates and provides input to area budget. Works within financial objectives/budget set by management.</li>
<li>Develops alternative solutions for decision-making which support organizational goals/objectives and budget constraints.</li>

<li>Provide reporting and analytics functionality to monitor API usage and load (overall hits, completed transactions, number of data objects returned, amount of compute time and other internal resources consumed, volume of data transferred).</li>
<li>Use results from API reporting/analytics to guide API Developer offering within an organization's overall continuous improvement process and for defining software Service-Level Agreements for APIs.</li>

</div><div><p>Leads a support organization providing business management services, supply side analytics, budget development and performance reporting, generation production and performance analysis, O&amp;M (Operation &amp; Maintenance)/Capital project evaluations and employee development programs for Power Generation. Support of O&amp;M (Operation &amp; Maintenance)/Capital/Fuel projects, budgets, Latest Estimate, and Month-End for Energy Supply Market Operations (ESMO).</p>
</div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Tasks and Responsibilities</b></h2>
</div><div><p>Establish and oversee the use of standardized processes and reporting consistent with business unit needs and performance requirements for Power Generation (PG)&amp; ESMO.
<br>
Manage details of multi-million-dollar budget (headcount &amp; labor, O&amp;M expense, capital, fuels, and fleet vehicle/equipment) and Latest Estimate (LE) activities for PG &amp; ESMO includes budget development process, recordkeeping, compliance, variance reporting and month-end close.
<br>
Works closely with supply chain and plant/ESMO teams to effectively control material procurement and inventory management processes and reporting.
<br>
Assists department management in developing, monitoring, and reporting on departmental level initiatives, goals, safety initiatives, and objectives.
<br>
Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc budget and business reports and analyses for senior leadership. Monitor incremental cost of generation to serve obligations with the use of optimization modeling software.
<br>
Manage the forecast of fuel consumption of generation units based on time spans that range from daily up to five years.
<br>
Study past periods of cost and fuel consumption and conducts data and output validation on a daily/monthly/annual basis.
<br>
Direct a team of business managers, analysts, technician, and clerical team, maintains policies/programs that define performance objectives for roles in assigned functional area, and technical direction for assigned programs.
<br>
Works closely with key stakeholders to ensure efficient information exchange and timely resolution of issues.
<br>
Establish reporting processes that clearly account for performance and provide transparency into the processes employed.
<br>
Conduct supply side analytics for power generation and monitor incremental cost of generation for the fleet.
<br>
Develop plant pro-forma financial statements and economic evaluations of O&amp;M and capital projects.
<br>
Establish process for modeling and reporting unit asset valuation.
<br>
Manage business plan metric development, monitoring and reporting to Corporate Business Planning and leaders across the organization.
<br>
Create data validation procedures for power plant events and generation recording in Generation Availability Data System (GADS) and Margin Analyzer Systems.
<br>
Manages processes for modeling and reporting unit asset valuation; ad hoc analysis, resource plan development, and generation forecast; analyses on power plant cost and performance to support strategic energy planning initiatives; and reporting of EIA-923 and EIA-860 forms monthly and annual.
<br>
Maintain adherence to new and updated NERC-GADS and EIA regulatory reporting requirements for all power plants in the CPS Energy fleet. Oversee NERC GADS reporting and compliance with Data Reporting Instructions.
<br>
Develop, implement, maintain, and provide quality assurance for IT process areas supported which may include, but is not limited to, systems, tools, hardware, software, applications, databases, documents and records.
<br>
Oversee technology initiatives as they are related to PG&rsquo;s reporting infrastructure.</p>
