</div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>Essential Duties / Responsibilities
<ul><li>Process rotors through various machining, EDM, and supporting operations in a team-oriented cell.
</li><li>Responsible for maintaining cell inventory.
</li><li>Set up and operate numerically controlled machines and other equipment.
</li><li>Make and verify any necessary corrections to program, set up, tooling and machine settings with the assistance of the Supervisor and/or Manufacturing Engineer.
</li><li>Use various gauges when required.
</li><li>Provide a finish in accordance with the manufacturing outline and blueprint requirements including but not limited to removal of burrs and edge breaks.
</li><li>Saw material as necessary.
</li><li>Clean and move parts as necessary.
</li><li>Pass an annual eye exam.
</li><li>Responsible for product verification and process control including using necessary measuring devices.
</li><li>Keep charts and records as required on completed sequences and processes.
</li><li>Rotate to different workstations within the cell
</li><li>Perform required rework, secondary operations, routine maintenance per Appendix A, and appropriate safety checks in the cell.
</li><li>Document all non-conformances through specified data collection procedures.
</li><li>Inspect work and verify that product meets all appropriate standards at each operational step in the cell.
</li><li>Complete all required paperwork.
</li><li>Ensure all material is properly cleaned, identified, protected, and stacked prior to movement.
</li><li>Work with internal and external customers and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement activities as required.
</li><li>Complete all required documentation including but not limited to operator inspection records, job routers, NCR&rsquo;s, reject tags, move tickets, and stock tickets.
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by department supervisor.
</li><li>Utilize computer to access various databases. 
</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma
</li><li>Must have previous CNC Grinding, CNC Lathe, and/or EDM experience.
</li><li>Must have basic reading and writing skills
</li><li>Requires basic math skills to make necessary calculations such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and trigonometry.
</li><li>Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, manufacturing outlines, and written instructions.
</li><li>Must be able to develop programs from manufacturing outlines.
</li><li>Requires a working knowledge of fixtures, cutting tools, and selecting and dressing wheels for finish requirements.

Job Summary:
The Production Assembler I works under supervision performing assigned assembly processes to manufacture Crane Aerospace &amp; Electronics products in accordance with military and/or other assembly standards using visual aids, verbal and/or written instructions.

</li><li>Observe proper health and safety procedures in handling hazardous chemicals
</li><li>Train and mentor new employees and other team members in new processes, procedures and Crane tools
</li><li>Prioritize daily demand per Master Schedule Report for the cell(s) they are working in
</li><li>Discuss and problem solve quality issues with Manufacturing Engineers, the Quality group, and leadership
</li><li>Create IT, Facilities work orders, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for quality and material issues
</li><li>Resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and perform First Article Inspection&rsquo;s (FAIs)
</li><li>Participate in cleaning of area and machinery and take part in team meetings for improvement
</li><li>Practice safe work habits as established by OSHA and Crane policy; Proactively identify safety concerns or issues and work with the Engineering group to implement solutions

</li><li>Skills: Strong verbal and written communication; Proficiency in reading comprehension (understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents) of the English language; Proficient in operating software tools (ie. Oracle, Teamcenter, QMS, Excel)
</li><li>Abilities: Accurate color vision, near vision, and depth perception and other vision capabilities required; Manipulative skills, including finger and manual dexterity; Adept handeye coordination and arm-hand steadiness; Ability to thoroughly interpret production or engineering prints, production planning information and assembly aids such as illustrations and wiring diagrams; Ability to work well in a moderate to high paced work environment in a high volume setting

Job Summary:
