<div>Essential Job Functions
<ul>
<li>Monitors the status of shipments from pickup through delivery</li>
<li>Enters shipment location, date and time into TMS</li>
<li>Contacts carriers and drivers via phone, email or internet to determine driver location</li>
<li>Escalates potential or existing service failures to Carrier Sales and Business Development</li>
<li>Works closely with Account Managers, Account Executives and Carrier Sales Representatives to ensure service level expectations are achieved and clients are informed of shipment status</li>
<li>Secures shipment and carrier documentation (bills of lading, PODs, etc.)</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Other Skills &amp; Abilities
<ul>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Strong understanding of US Geography</li>
<li>Excellent organizational and problem solving skills</li>
<li>Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel</li>
<li>Works well in a team environment</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment</li>
<li>Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus</li>
</ul>
Education &amp; Experience
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED/Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li>
</ul>
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
<ul>
<li>Professional certification may be required in some areas.</li>
</ul>
