The Manager of Supply Chain will develop, implement, and monitor processes to optimize the supply chain and material processes for the Business Unit. This individual will take a lead role in interfacing with our strategic suppliers and leveraging the relationships for continuous improvement of inventory velocity and product costing.<div></div><div>
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:</div><ul><li>Lead, coach and mentor a team of dedicated Planning, Procurement, and</li></ul><div>
Materials professionals</div><ul><li>Manage and Optimize the Demand Management and Planning Processes for</li></ul><div>
the business unit.</div><ul><li>Implement a framework for best practices in supply chain and inventory</li></ul><div>
management that drive results to satisfy our customers, provide cost down</div><div>
impact, and improve Inventory Performance</div><ul><li>Report &amp; drive key Supply Chain performance metrics as required</li><li>Drive Standard Work through the team to ensure predictability and consistency</li></ul><div>
of results</div><ul><li>Support corporate strategic initiatives</li><li>Responsible for target customer inventory levels, turns, projection and</li></ul><div>
inventory optimization</div><ul><li>Step in and support team members as necessary (new customer</li></ul><div>
introductions, other large or complex projects)</div><ul><li>Participate as a member of the Business Unit Leadership Team</li><li>Build positive relationships with both internal and external customers</li><li>Add value through your ability to understand and refine business processes</li><li>Manage Supplier relationships and as applicable participate in broader</li></ul><div>
discussions with key strategic suppliers. This may include dealing with various</div><div>
issues, initiating / resolution of Supplier Corrective Actions, and Supplier Audits</div><ul><li>Other duties and responsibilities as assigned</li></ul><div></div><div>
QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Operations / Business</li><li>Minimum 10 years Supply Chain / Materials Management experience</li><li>Experience should include the areas of MRP planning, strategic &amp; tactical</li></ul><div>
purchasing, all facets of inventory management, as well as the required P&amp;L</div><div>
financial acumen to manage business objectives.</div><ul><li>Ability to obtain results through people within your scope of responsibility as well as those outside your scope of responsibility</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of Continuous Improvement &amp; Lean Manufacturing</li></ul><div>
techniques.</div><ul><li>Experience in the EMS industry is a preferred asset although not mandatory.</li><li>Practical industry experience in a multi-location environment (preferably in a</li></ul><div>
complex manufacturing setting)</div><ul><li>Dedicated and professional attitude, willing to learn in a high change/high-</li></ul><div>
pace environment</div><ul><li>Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives on autonomy and the</li></ul><div>
challenges of continuous improvement</div><div></div><div>
SKILLS REQUIRED:</div><ul><li>Ability to multitask &amp; prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment</li><li>Proficiency in operating a computer including using a Windows based operating systems and related software</li><li>Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel (v-lookups, data filters, pivot tables etc.)</li><li>Excellent English communications skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Organized, self-motivated team player, able to work well under pressure</li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization as well as directly with key customer contacts</li><li>Ability to Enhance and provide input to functional processes or technologies.</li><li>Demonstrates commitment to implement initiatives.</li><li>Assist in achieving section/sub-function objectives for a functional area.</li><li>Exercises independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to</li></ul><div>
achieve objectives. May make decisions absent of management supervision</div><div>
