This role is a high visibility role, reporting to the CIO, and will provide hands on Cyber Security and Network Configuration support as well as lead/manage the helpdesk and Systems Administration services for the company.</div><div></div><div><br>

What you will do:</b></div><ul><li>
Secure the company&rsquo;s IT assets including software and hardware.</li><li>
Secure Firewalls, Network, Servers, PCs, Laptops and Mobile devices.</li><li>
Secure MS Azure cloud and AWS Cloud components and services.</li><li>
Conduct and monitor pen tests and fix vulnerabilities.</li><li>
Handle security related aspects of Firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, remote management, security gateways.
</li><li>Protect the company by working directly with 3rd party vendors on all Cyber Security projects &ndash; penetration tests, server patches, desktop / laptop patches (via WSUS) and network configuration.</li><li>
Install and upgrade computer and network components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes (e.g., Microsoft WSUS).</li><li>
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.</li><li>
Work with IT leadership to plan and implement new infrastructure or upgrades of existing IT infrastructure.</li><li>
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.</li><li>
Experience with helpdesk support efforts, to help make sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.</li><li>
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and network performance.</li><li>
Perform periodic bandwidth testing and ensure that network connectivity is optimized.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
What you should have:</b></div><ul><li>
Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or related field. Equivalent experience may also be considered in lieu of a degree.</li><li>
Minimum of 7-8 years of hands-on security and network administration experience is required.</li><li>
Minimum 2-3 years of management experience with a team of direct reports managing helpdesk and sys admin functions.
</li><li>Experience installing and managing servers, desktops, laptops, and software patches.</li><li>
Experience with conducting pen tests and fixing problems.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.</li><li>
Experience with Secure Firewalls, hands on experience with Cisco MX95.</li><li>
Full understanding of Firewall concepts (Security Zones, Security policy ordering, Searching and Sorting Audit logs, Address Sets, negated addresses, User Roles and tables, route-based policies, address-books, Application traffic control, etc.).</li><li>
Good understanding of routing (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP) and switching technology.</li><li>
Excellent understanding of Proxy based product (hands-on preferred).</li><li>
Good knowledge of Linux and Windows.</li><li>
Excellent understanding (hands-on preferred) on various security technologies including, VPN's, IDS/IPS, end point security solutions (AV, HIPS, and Hard Disk Encryption), Authentication products (Bitglass, MS Defender), Content Security Gateways (Cisco IronPort Web/Mail Security Gateways), DLP, Load Balancing.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.</li><li>
Experience with scripting and automation tools.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Preferred experience/qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, remote management, troubleshooting, and problem resolution preferred.</li><li>
Azure AD, MS Defender experience desired.</li><li>
AWS Security experience (Security Groups, NACLs, Security Policies, securing AWS).</li><li>
Security, System administration and IT certifications (CISSP, CCNA etc.) are a plus.</li><li>
Certifications in Linux, Microsoft, Cisco, or other network related fields are a plus.</li><li>
Working knowledge of virtualization and VMWare and hosting in the Cloud.</li><li>
AWS and Azure security certifications desired.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
