Maintaining the safety and development of the students with disabilities in their care</li><li>
Establishing high expectations for each student and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development</li><li>
Working closely with the classroom teacher to deliver instruction individually, in small groups, and to support whole-class instruction for more than 50% of the workday</li><li>
Participating in frequent meetings with parents, teachers, and school leadership</li><li>
Collaborating with therapists, evaluators, and teachers to support student development</li><li>
Developing educational materials, learning communication techniques, and using student devices</li><li>
After training, implement CPI de-escalation techniques and positive behavioral interventions to support student safety and behavioral needs</li><li>
Accurately collect and track behavioral and academic progress data as instructed</li><li>
Participating in the life of the school, including student activities and events</li><li>
Completing daily session notes</li><li>
Implementing behavior and treatment plans with fidelity</li><li>
Taking on other tasks, as needed</li></ul>

Physical Requirements<ul><li>
Regularly required to sit, stand, run, walk, talk, hear, see, kneel, crouch, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and lift and move up to 100 pounds</li><li>
Must be able to participate in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training and, when required, safely implement approved de-escalation and physical intervention techniques in accordance with student behavior plans, organizational policies, and training guidelines. Must be able to respond quickly to crisis situations, including student elopement or aggressive behaviors, to support and maintain student safety</li><li>

About The Constellations Program
The Constellations Program is a PreK through 4th-grade school setting for students with low-incidence disabilities. At Constellations, we prepare students to achieve their highest independent level of functioning. The Constellations Program will support students in meeting their functional skill needs as well as the academic skills aligned to the LEAP Connect. While this program is geared primarily towards students with Autism, it is open to other students with limited to no verbal skills, intellectual impairments, and similar exceptionalities.
