ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a patent prosecution associate with 3-8 years of patent prosecution experience. This is a unique opportunity to work across our Electrical &amp; Computer Technologies and Biotechnology practice groups on cutting edge innovations. Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Interfaces with clients and inventors at all stages of the patent process</li><li>Prepares, files, and prosecutes patent applications in the United States and abroad</li><li>Conducts freedom-to-operate, infringement, and patentability analyses</li><li>Assists in other responsibilities or projects, as requested, or needed.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>A degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a related field of study</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of machine learning, molecular biology, and sequencing technology</li><li>Familiarity with gene editing, immunology, microscopy, and systems biology is a plus</li><li>Graduated with a JD from an ABA-accredited law school</li><li>Admitted to the USPTO</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $240,000.00 - $370,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>AD&amp;D insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Green card sponsorship</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Visa sponsorship</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have understanding of machine learning, molecular biology, and sequencing technology?</li><li>Are you Familiar with gene editing, immunology, microscopy, and systems biology? </li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Bar (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
