 Role Description
 
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for a skilled
 
 Fire &amp; Security Service Engineer
 
 (also known as a
 
 Fire and Intruder Alarm Engineer
 
 or
 
 Electronic Security Systems Engineer
 
 ) to join our growing team. You&rsquo;ll be responsible for the
 
 installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair
 
 of a range of systems, including
 
 fire alarms
 
 ,
 
 CCTV (IP and analogue)
 
 ,
 
 intruder alarms
 
 , and
 
 access control systems
 
 . This field-based role will involve regular system checks, commissioning, and fault-finding to ensure the safety and security of our clients&rsquo; properties.
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll also provide outstanding customer service, supporting our 24/7 monitoring operations, and responding to emergency call-outs on a rota basis.

 Salary: &pound;25,000 &ndash; &pound;35,000 (dependent on experience) + overtime, travel, and on-call allowance
 </li>

 Earning potential: &pound;40,000 &ndash; &pound;60,000 per annum
 </li>

 <li>
 20 days annual leave + bank holidays (with additional leave after 3 years&rsquo; service)

 The role is Monday &ndash; Friday 8:30am &ndash; 5:00pm + travel

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding on electronic fire and security systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Install and commission new fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm, and access control systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to reactive call-outs and complete remedial works efficiently
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure systems comply with relevant British Standards (BS EN) and industry regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times
 </li>
 <li>
 Work independently and collaboratively within a supportive, growing team
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in the on-call rota (currently 1 week in 6)
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Experience &amp; Skills Required
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 2 years&rsquo; experience in servicing and maintaining:
 </li>
 <li>
 Security/Intruder Alarm Systems (e.g., Galaxy, Texecom, Scantronic)
 </li>
 <li>
 CCTV Systems (analogue and IP)
 </li>
 <li>
 Fire Alarm Systems (e.g., Advanced, Kentec, Ziton, Menvier, C-Tec)
 </li>
 <li>
 Access Control Systems (e.g., Paxton)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in installation, commissioning, and fault diagnosis
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong electrical/electronic engineering background
 </li>
 <li>
 Good understanding of IP networking and system integration desirable
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer literate (engineers use PDAs and digital reporting tools)
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and customer service skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Full UK driving licence required
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to undergo security screening in line with industry standards

 Desirable Certifications &amp; Qualifications
