This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide constructive alternatives to the juvenile justice system and empower local youth to thrive. Join our compassionate team and help make a lasting impact in the lives of young people in our community.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Partner with the Teen Court Coordinator to manage day-to-day Teen Court operations, including handling referrals and conducting youth interviews.</li><li>Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers to support Teen Court trials and educational workshops.</li><li>Facilitate Teen Court hearings, ensuring proper procedures are followed, volunteers are coordinated, and sessions run smoothly.</li><li>Support the Safe Place program by collaborating with local businesses and community partners, coordinating site participation, monitoring compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with Safe Place locations.</li><li>Conduct regular site visits to ensure Safe Place locations remain accessible and prepared, and engage in community outreach, training, and awareness activities.</li><li>Represent the organization in outreach efforts, sharing information about Safe Place and Teen Court with schools, businesses, community members, and other stakeholders.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (required).</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Fingerprint based National &amp; State Criminal History Check</li><li>Child Protective Services Check</li><li>National Sex Offender Registry Check</li><li>Local Criminal Court Records Check</li><li>Computer Literacy</li><li>TB Test</li><li>Pre-Employment Physical &amp; Drug Test</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with community partners.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations.</li><li>Demonstrated cultural awareness, sensitivity, and commitment to inclusivity.</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accurate record-keeping practices.</li></ul>Shift Availability:<ul><li>Flexible to work day and evening shifts, including weekdays and weekends, as needed.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>LTD &amp; STD</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Paid Birthday</li><li>403(b) company contribution</li><li>403(b) Match</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li></ul>Why You Should Apply?This full‑time role gives you a chance to work hands‑on with youth, volunteers, and community partners &mdash; making a real, positive impact on lives.
