We pride ourselves on our dedication to making learning exciting, expanding young minds in all areas, and creating loving bonds with the families in our care.We are family oriented, value diversity and different backgrounds, and would love you to join our team.We offer competitive pay, health benefits, personal time off, and retirement plan.Qualifications:<ul><li>Teacher certification from the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).</li><li>Associates Degree in early education preferred.</li><li>Bachelors Degree in education or similar a plus.</li><li>First Aid and CPR Certification preferred</li><li>Should be caring, kind, committed and interested in the growth and development of children and the team you work with.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Comprehensive benefit package including:</li><li>Health Insurance, Paid Family &amp; Medical Leave, Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays, and more</li><li>Professional development, tuition reimbursement, certification funding and support.</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Provide planning and execution of appropriate readiness experiences for each curriculum group</li><li>Provide planning and execution of appropriate art, music, literature, science, etc. activities</li><li>Maintain records of the progress of each child's growth and development</li><li>Maintain communication regarding child's growth and development with staff members, Supervisor , Director, and parents</li><li>Maintain classroom and all educational equipment and materials</li><li>Maintain records of all accidents, concerns regarding children, unusual behavior of children, suspected incidents of abuse and/or neglect and communicate information to Program Director</li><li>Ensure adequate nurturing of child&rsquo;s developmental tasks, including any special needs mandated by Protective Services</li><li>Schedule and participate in all staff/parent meetings</li><li>Knowledge of all emergency procedures</li><li>Assist with progress reports</li><li>Participate/attend monthly staff meetings, trainings and workshops.</li><li>Participate in Individual (1:1) meetings with supervisor every 2-months.</li><li>Provide individual time for each child in playing, holding, and talking.</li><li>Provide feedings according to a child's schedule.</li><li>Provide diaper and clothing changes regularly and as needed.</li><li>Supervise toileting of older toddlers if needed.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
