Job Description :Qualification : GNM/BSCExperience: 1 to 2 years ( Preferably from Pediatrics)Job Specification :&middot; Bedside handover takeover(giving and taking)&middot; Providing round-the clock care to premature and severely ill newborn infants.&middot; Care for the basic needs of infants; for example feeding and changing diapers.&middot; Performing medical procedures; for example inserting intravenous lines, performing tests, administering medications.&middot; Knowledge about the assigned patient&middot; Evaluate patient condition.&middot; Constant observation&middot; Prompt and effective bedside nursing care&middot; Attend patient needs immediately.&middot; Immediate reporting of abnormalities if any&middot; Proper documentation&middot; Comforting newborns and Counseling patient&rsquo;s family members.&middot; Follow Consultant Doctors rounds&middot; Implement Doctors orders&middot; Inform cross referrals&middot; Prepares and assist in various bedside procedures.&middot; Indent prescribed medications and inform non availability&middot; Narcotic/expensive drugs as per protocol.&middot; Collect investigation reports and inform.&middot; Nutritional needs as prescribed&middot; Report any undue delay or issues&middot; Follow protocol for: admission, discharge, death, transfer out/transfer in.&middot; Follow Blood Transfusion policy as required.&middot; Informed consent to be taken for all special procedure and investigations&middot; Confidentiality of patient records and condition.&middot; Proper management of emergencies&middot; Health education&middot; Interdepartmental co-ordination&middot; Ensure morning care and personal hygiene especially by night nurse.&middot; Accompany patient if necessary.&middot; Emergency management&middot; Inform to In-charge / duty doctor in case of any abnormal values of investigation or any changes occur to the patient.&middot; Filling leave application form and getting it signed by sanctioning authority.Handover to next shift nurses before leaving the UNIT at the end of shift.Interested may forward your resumeJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
