 SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
 
 Assembles, tests, inspects, labels, packages, and performs final processing of product, both electrically and mechanically. Performs duties within a team atmosphere and displays flexibility within a production environment. Performs level 1 precision assembly of aerospace and defense products by following detailed work instructions, engineeringdrawings, routers, and quality standards. Assembles mechanical and electro-mechanical components using hand tools andprecision measuring equipment while maintaining workmanship, safety, and quality requirements. Performs basicinspections and functional testing under the guidance of experienced assemblers and production leadership.
 
 
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished product according
 </li>
 <li>
 to engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform measuring, fitting, fastening, wiring, and basic soldering operations as required by the assembly process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use standard hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers,
 </li>
 <li>
 and gauges.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform testing, continuity checks, and verification of assembled products to ensure functionality and conformance
 </li>
 <li>
 to specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct in-process visual inspections to identify workmanship defects and report discrepancies to production leadership.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate production documentation, routers, and quality records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow established ESD, FOD, safety, and quality procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support cross-training and assist other production areas as workload demands.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and production efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as assigned.

 </ul>
 
 Education And Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High school diploma or equivalent required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical school coursework or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or
 </li>
 <li>
 mechanical assembly is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Two to three (2-3) years of precision electro-mechanical manufacturing or assembly
 </li>
 <li>
 experience preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in an aerospace or electronics manufacturing environment is a plus.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills

 Ability to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and written procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity for precision assembly work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and accurately.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to learn precision soldering and assembly processes in accordance with company workmanship standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic computer skills for production documentation and manufacturing systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be authorized to access information and hardware subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
 </li>
 <li>
 Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations, including U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents,
 </li>
 <li>
 Political Asylees, or Refugees.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Physical Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Regularly required to sit and/or stand for extended periods while performing precision assembly operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Frequently use hands and fingers for repetitive assembly tasks requiring fine motor skills and
 </li>
 <li>
 hand-eye coordination.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform repetitive reaching, grasping, bending, twisting, and handling of small components.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to distinguish colors, read detailed work instructions, and identify small parts and defects;
 </li>
 <li>
 use of magnification devices may be required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Frequently lift and carry materials and equipment up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work safely with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and testing devices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a clean and organized workstation while complying with all safety, quality, and
 </li>
 <li>
 housekeeping requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, fumes from assembly processes,
 </li>
 <li>
 and varying temperatures. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.
