Position Overview: 
The Business Development Associate will be responsible for sourcing candidates and joining forces with the marketing team to build campaigns around those connections. The Business Development Associate will help the team navigate CrossCountry Mortgage&rsquo;s database, find, recruit, and hire Branch Managers across the country. 
 
Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Create targeted sourcing strategies for Loan Officers; conduct industry and candidate prospect research; identify and utilize multiple recruitment sources to develop a pool of candidates.</li><li>
Source, screen, evaluate and recommend a diverse list of candidates and maintain a network of contacts within the mortgage banking industry.</li><li>
Manage a virtual assistant to make cold calls and schedule appointments.</li><li>
Handle all email invitations, text reminders, initial calls, follow-up, and live/virtual recruiting efforts with the Regional Vice President.</li><li>
Work closely with respective Branch Managers to include presenting candidate(s), consulting and advising on effective recruiting strategies and techniques.</li><li>
Participate in weekly update meetings with the leadership team to advise on recruiting strategy progress.</li></ul> 
Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>
1 years&rsquo; experience recruiting in any industry, required.</li><li>
2+ years&rsquo; phone sourcing and engaging talent, a plus.</li><li>
Salesforce experience, a plus.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office.</li><li>
Excellent time management skills.</li><li>
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>

Valere Commercial&rsquo;s core focus is on business purpose loans, including but not limited to the following products: investor bridge, fix-and-flip, ground-up construction (1-4 family and multi-family), multi-family term, cross-collateralized, and builder finance.
Position Overview:
The BPL Underwriter is an experienced mortgage professional specializing in complex transactions including fix and flip, multifamily, senior bridge, and construction loans. This role demonstrates skill in structuring deals, analyzing financial and property valuations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The BPL Underwriter collaborates cross-functionally with production, closing, and legal teams to deliver tailored lending solutions and drive successful loan execution.
Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Lead the underwriting process while managing deal timelines, developing credit recommendations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.</li><li>
Work directly with production teams to develop loan structures that will meet clients&rsquo; financial objectives; develop and maintain strong relationships with production and closing departments.</li><li>
Prepare underwriting narratives and independent cash flow estimates, focusing on large, complex transactions, including multifamily, senior bridge and construction loan deals.</li><li>
Evaluate the market competitiveness of the proposed collateral and determine the economic feasibility of transactions; conduct detailed economic and market research.</li><li>
Model and review cash flows, financial statements, and analyze property valuations.</li><li>
Review third party reports from vendors such as appraisers, surveyors, and engineers to ensure compliance with all requirements.</li><li>
Collaborate with loan officers, loan closers, and legal counsel to move loan requests through the approval and closing process.</li><li>
Conduct and participate in customer meetings and conference calls.</li><li>
Present recommendations to the appropriate levels, including all key documentation. (term sheets, applications, commitments, credit memos, etc.)</li><li>
Crosstrain across Valere&rsquo;s various products and exit strategies to cultivate ability to underwrite a variety of deal types.</li></ul>
Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics, preferred.</li><li>
5+ years of experience underwriting Single, Multifamily and Commercial Real Estate Loans; experience with building or utilizing cash flow model technologies, preferred.</li><li>
Completion of a formal commercial loan underwriting training program (Ex. Omega), preferred.</li><li>
Experienced in high-volume environments, efficiently managing assignments to consistently meet deadlines.</li><li>
Skilled in prioritizing tasks and avoiding distractions to meet deadlines without direct supervision in a remote work environment.</li><li>
Experience with Moody&rsquo;s Credit Lens, preferred.</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting, including the development of cash flow forecasts and pricing metrics.</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Ability to travel as needed to execute the expectations of the role.</li></ul>

Position Overview: 
The Branch Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and handling various operational functions to ensure the branch is operating in an efficient manner. This position provides high-level support to the Branch Manager including calendar management, coordination of business meetings, email management, and business tracking. This position also includes some marketing administrative responsibilities including events, mailers, email marketing, CRM, etc. 
 
Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Manage the team&rsquo;s and branch manager&rsquo;s calendar; schedule a variety of business meetings.</li><li>
Manage branch manager&rsquo;s email.</li><li>
Create well-organized, grammatically correct emails.</li><li>
Assist with special events planning.</li><li>
Utilize various software applications such as spreadsheets and Salesforce CRM to keep the rest of the team informed on clients and deals.</li><li>
Ensure the branch follows the annual marketing calendar and plans.</li><li>
Establish and maintain record keeping and filing systems for the branch.</li><li>
Maintain a calendar and contact database, schedule appointments, make travel or conference arrangements, and may arrange meetings and conferences for an assigned work group.</li><li>
Perform administrative duties such as conducting research, updating databases/CRM, and preparing collateral materials.</li><li>
Complete expense reports and reconcile receipts.</li><li>
Execute on some predefined marketing tasks like email, mailers, events, sales campaigns, etc.</li></ul>
