 About the Job:
 
 
 
 We are looking for a skilled
 
 PHP Backend Developer
 
 with hands-on experience in
 
 GIS applications
 
 and working knowledge of either
 
 Python or Node.js
 
 . The ideal candidate will build, optimize, and maintain backend services that support geospatial data processing and map-based platforms.
 
 
 
 Technical profile/ Your duties:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Deliver the assigned tasks within due time frame and minimum percentage of defects/bugs, ensuring the needed quality of delivery is attained.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure being up to date with the latest needed technologies aiding the Client&rsquo;s projects needs and delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document all tasks being implemented for easy reference to the development team and Clients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Effectively Communicates with the Team/Client, for an easy flow of information and connection with the team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage time to utilize 25% - 30% for research and learning and 70% - 75% for technical development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow the NDA &amp; Security Data Protection Guidelines ensuring data is confidential and not disclosed to any third parties

 Develop and maintain backend services using PHP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrate and work with GIS technologies, spatial databases, and map APIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and optimize RESTful APIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement data workflows using Python or Node.js when required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with front-end and GIS teams to deliver high-performance geospatial systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure application scalability, security, and performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Skills and Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proven experience as a Backend Developer using PHP (Laravel or similar frameworks preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with GIS, geospatial concepts, and tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Good understanding of Python OR Node.js.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong command of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL with PostGIS).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience building RESTful APIs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with cloud services is a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP).
 </li>
 <li>
 Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
