Job Description:
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Electrician maintains and enhances the electrical infrastructure of our coil coating factory in Toledo, Ohio. The position will perform preventative and corrective repairs, interpret blueprints, troubleshoot issues, uphold safety standards and keep detailed documentation. This is a hands-on position that will be required to support a variety of duties and responsibilities in this continuous operation.
Duties And Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems for production machinery, conveyors, motors, and control panels.
</li><li>Diagnose and repair electrical issues on automated equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, and motor control circuits.
</li><li>Install and maintain wiring, conduit, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components in compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
</li><li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to plan and execute repairs.
</li><li>Test electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality and safety.
</li><li>Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to supervisors.
</li><li>Respond to emergency breakdowns and support continuous production operations.
</li><li>Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and comply with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.
</li><li>Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
</li></ul>Qualifications:
In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or completion of electrician apprenticeship preferred.
</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician.
</li></ul><ul><li>Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, PLC ladder logic troubleshooting with focus on Allen Bradley, and industrial electrical controls troubleshooting and repair.
</li><li>Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for scheduling and documentation.
</li><li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills
</li><li>Fully comply with all company and plant safety practices and policies
</li><li>Must have experienced skills in troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and operation of high speed production machinery.
</li><li>Ability to perform math functions and comprehend complex verbal and written instructions
</li><li>Pass pre-employment testing, (drug test, background check, mechanical aptitude testing)

The studio was built to provide Crown&rsquo;s Beverage Division and customer base with the necessary support and graphics development in one central location. It is designed to be a customer showcase where customers can be educated on the can making process from start to finish. Position Summary:
The Prepress Designer/Color Separator will provide graphic/prepress support by color separating and setting up digital art files according to production specifications for aluminum can printing at Crown&rsquo;s various manufacturing locations as well as providing support for other team members including proofreading/quality checks for accuracy and print-readiness.
Requirements:
Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul><li>In-depth understanding and experience in color separation and offset printing.
</li><li>3-5 years of working experience in a graphics/prepress field.
</li><li>Minimum 3 years&rsquo; experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
</li><li>Experience with manual (digital) trapping and digital proofing.
</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to develop and follow standard operating procedures.
</li><li>Esko workflow and Automation Engine experience is a plus.
</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask while meeting deadlines.
</li><li>Effective communication skills, administrative ability, and team building attributes.

The Decorator Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining can decorating machinery to ensure high-quality printing on metal cans, adhering to production schedules and quality standards.
 
 
Job Responsibilities
 
 
<ul><li>Operate and monitor high-speed can decorating equipment, including feeders, coaters, and ovens, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
</li><li>Perform routine setup, adjustments, and changeovers of machinery according to production specifications and job orders.
</li><li>Conduct in-process quality checks, including color matching, print registration, and defect identification, and make necessary adjustments to maintain standards.
</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and operational issues with decorating equipment to minimize downtime.
</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance tasks on decorating machinery as scheduled or required.
</li><li>Load and unload raw materials (ink, coatings, cans) and finished products from the decorator.
</li><li>Maintain accurate production records, including downtime, waste, and output data.

</li><li>Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform duties in a manufacturing setting (which may include exposure to noise, heat, and chemicals).
