Job Description:
 Forklift Operator
Position Summary: This position will transport inventory and materials (both raw materials and finished goods) throughout both the operation floor and warehouse areas.
 Essential Functions:
<ul><li>Ensures all equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place at all times, and follows safe work procedures and safety rules.
</li><li>Operates powered industrial trucks to transport inventory and load tractor trailers for shipment. This would also include maintaining and servicing production lines with plate, ends, pallets, top frames, chipboard, copper wire, etc. as dictated by production schedules.
</li><li>Transports inventory in warehouse to correct locations and stages orders for shipment.
</li><li>Understands daily production schedule and corresponds with mgmt. leads, and coworkers accordingly.
</li><li>Complete all required forms, bills of lading, spoilage reports, shipping reports and any other related paperwork.
</li><li>Performs visual inspection of steel cans and packaging quality. Remove, replace and or repair defective or damaged finished goods and/or materials prior to loading on any trucks for shipment.
</li><li>Monitors schedules, equipment, or processes, and reports problems to supervisor.
</li><li>Assists with Material Movers (Line drivers) or other forklift operations when necessary.
</li><li>Follows all SOP&rsquo;s (standard operating procedures) and communicates with proper personnel as concerns or issues arise
</li><li>Assist Quality Assurance in locating pallets for sampling.
</li><li>Keeps equipment and all areas safe, clean, and organized through proper housekeeping.
</li><li>Performs other related duties as required.
</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:
<ul><li>Three years of experience in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred).
</li><li>Three years of forklift experience.
</li><li>Exhibit safety and quality as their top priorities.
</li><li>Effective record keeping skills and the ability to focus on details.
</li><li>Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
</li><li>Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.
</li></ul>Education:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
</li></ul>Physical Demands:
<ul><li>Must be able to stand continuously for more than 8+ hours per shift.
</li><li>Must be able to walk, left/carry up to 50 lbs on occasion.
</li><li>Must be about to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
</li></ul><ul><li>Must be able to twist at the waist and bend repetitively.
</li><li>This position may also require climbing or balancing.
</li></ul>Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, both day and evening.

<div>Responsible for managing and maintaining inventory, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of goods within CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd facilities.
 
 
Job Responsibilities:**
 
 
<ul><li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
</li><li>Accurately record and update inventory levels using company systems and software.
</li><li>Organize and store materials in designated locations, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
</li><li>Issue and distribute materials to various departments as per requisitions, maintaining proper documentation.
</li><li>Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
</li><li>Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring reordering to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
</li><li>Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the store area.
</li><li>Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (if certified).
</li><li>Assist in loading and unloading goods as needed.
</li><li>Report damaged or defective goods and assist in their return or disposal.
</li><li>Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:**
 
 
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.
</li><li>Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
</li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills.
</li><li>Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.
</li><li>Forklift operator certification is a plus.
</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li></ul></div></div>
