The Procurement Officer &ndash; Technical is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for all technical materials, equipment, tools, and maintenance-related services required to support the private engineering office and estate operations. The role ensures quality sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, vendor coordination, and timely delivery of technical goods and services&mdash;covering electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, Civil, Projects and general facility systems&mdash;while adhering to UAE procurement regulations and the estate&rsquo;s standards for safety, reliability, and operational excellence.JOB LOCATION: FUJAIRAH, UAEQUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field.</li><li>Certification in Procurement and Supply Chain (e.g., CIPS Level 2 or higher) preferred.</li><li>Technical Procurement or Engineering Materials Handling certification is an advantage.</li><li>Valid UAE Driving License (required for market and supplier visits).</li><li>Knowledge of UAE safety, facility management, and quality standards for technical goods.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in technical or engineering procurement, preferably within maintenance, facilities management, or construction environments.</li><li>Proven experience sourcing technical equipment, tools, spare parts, and maintenance-related services.</li><li>Familiarity with local and international suppliers and import procedures for technical materials.</li></ul>KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:Technical Product KnowledgeStrong understanding of:<ul><li>Electrical materials: cables, circuit breakers, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and fittings.</li><li>Mechanical &amp; plumbing items: pumps, valves, pipes, fittings, seals, motors, bearings, and compressors.</li><li>HVAC supplies: filters, thermostats, refrigerants, ducts, and air-conditioning components.</li><li>Tools &amp; consumables: hand tools, power tools, fasteners, lubricants, and safety equipment (PPE).</li><li>General maintenance materials: building hardware, paints, adhesives, sealants, and cleaning products.</li></ul>Procurement &amp; Process Management<ul><li>Issue RFQs, prepare LPOs, and track deliveries.</li><li>Conduct market research to identify reliable and cost-effective suppliers.</li><li>Manage urgent or emergency procurement requirements (e.g., replacement parts or breakdown repairs).</li></ul>Vendor Management<ul><li>Develop and maintain a database of approved technical suppliers and service providers.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, warranties, and service agreements to ensure value and reliability.</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery schedules.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Ensure all purchases meet UAE safety and quality standards.</li><li>Maintain proper documentation including certificates of conformity, safety data sheets, and warranty records.</li><li>Keep accurate and up-to-date procurement files and reports.</li></ul>Systems &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement systems.</li><li>Prepare procurement summaries, cost analysis reports, and supplier evaluations.</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Work closely with engineers, maintenance supervisors, and logistics teams to understand technical needs.</li><li>Communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.</li></ul>BENEFITS:<ul><li>Shared accommodation provided by company (IF ELIGIBLE)</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>1 economy flight per annum</li><li>30 days&rsquo; vacation per annum</li><li>Salary depends on experience</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you willing to relocate to or reliably commute to Fujairah?</li><li>Do you have UAE driving license?</li></ul>
