Immediate opening for an experienced Body/ Paint Shop Lead Technician specializing in medium and heavy duty trucks! Position requires proficiency in collision and structural repair, estimating, along with the ability to mentor and train technicians in the Body &amp; Paint shop. Experience with hydraulic pulling equipment and welding is strongly preferred. This role requires both production and administrative skills. Pay is based on experience, tools, and efficiency.Key Responsibilities &amp; Duties<ul><li>Repair vehicle off the estimate, along with assisting with estimates, and communicating with customers and insurance contacts</li><li>Disassemble, identify hidden damage to vehicle, and mark all parts from that job, including palletize each vehicles parts and miscellaneous items</li><li>Prep and repair damage in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures</li><li>Fill out final check sheet</li><li>Assist, train, and support in our paint booth</li><li>Other job duties as assigned, which will include some mechanical tasks on medium &amp; heavy duty vehicles</li></ul>Academic, Certifications &amp; Trade Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum high school graduate or GED</li><li>Understanding of basic and fractional math</li><li>Driver&rsquo;s license with clean driving record</li></ul>Work Experience, Skills &amp; Strengths<ul><li>Mechanically inclined</li><li>Able to lift and carry 75LBS unassisted</li><li>Be able to stand, crouch, and be on your knees for long periods of time</li><li>Able to maneuver around heavy machinery</li><li>Healthy in fast paced environments</li><li>Must have or be willing to acquire tools for position</li><li>Estimating experience a requirement</li><li>A minimum of three years of work, directly in the truck &amp; trailer industry, preferred</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
