We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities for 3 to 4 operating companies under a single group. The role requires strong hands-on accounting capability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work across multiple business units with accuracy and discipline.The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, reporting directly to management and coordinating with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain full books of accounts for 3&ndash;4 companies (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets).</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each entity.</li><li>Ensure accurate inter-company accounting and reconciliations.</li><li>Manage month-end and year-end closing activities on schedule.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Controls<ul><li>Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Prepare and file VAT / tax returns, where applicable.</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls and accounting discipline across entities.</li></ul>Cash Flow &amp; Banking<ul><li>Monitor and manage cash flow, bank balances, and working capital.</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations for all accounts.</li><li>Support management with cash flow forecasts and payment planning.</li></ul>Management Support<ul><li>Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and cost tracking.</li><li>Assist in budget preparation and monitoring for each company.</li><li>Support management in decision-making with accurate financial data.</li></ul>Systems &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.</li><li>Work with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar).</li><li>Improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency across companies.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master&rsquo;s / CPA / ACCA is an advantage).</li><li>5&ndash;8+ years of accounting experience, preferably in multi-company or group environments.</li><li>Strong knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance.</li><li>Hands-on experience managing multiple entities simultaneously.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.</li><li>Experience working with auditors, banks, and tax authorities.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Attributes<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple companies</li><li>High level of integrity and confidentiality</li><li>Independent, proactive, and accountable</li><li>Clear communication with management and stakeholders</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience</li><li>Performance-based growth opportunities</li><li>Stable, long-term role within a growing group</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From QAR4,500.00 per monthEducation:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>job related: 5 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Driving license (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Doha (Required)</li></ul>
