Key Responsibilities:1. Purchase Planning &amp; Requirement Analysis<ul><li>Coordinate with the Production, Planning, and Stores departments to understand daily/weekly paper requirements.</li><li>Prepare material requirement sheets based on job cards, production schedules, and consumption trends.</li><li>Maintain reorder levels and ensure no stock-out situation occurs.</li></ul>2. Vendor Management<ul><li>Identify and develop reliable paper suppliers and mills for regular procurement.</li><li>Obtain quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize purchase orders ensuring best quality and price.</li><li>Maintain updated vendor database with price lists, credit terms, and delivery performance records.</li></ul>3. Procurement &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Raise purchase orders (POs) in ERP or manual system and get proper approvals.</li><li>Track order status, delivery timelines, and coordinate with transporters for timely material receipt.</li><li>Ensure all paper received is as per specification and quality standards.</li></ul>4. Cost Control &amp; Budgeting<ul><li>Continuously monitor market rates and suggest cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Prepare monthly purchase cost reports and variance analysis.</li><li>Work closely with accounts for vendor payment follow-ups and GRN (Goods Receipt Note) matching.</li></ul>5. Inventory &amp; Quality Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with stores for physical stock verification and maintain minimum/maximum stock levels.</li><li>Work with Quality Department to handle rejection, replacement, or claim processes.</li></ul>6. Compliance &amp; Record Maintenance<ul><li>Maintain all purchase records, bills, and supplier correspondence properly.</li><li>Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and audit requirements.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong knowledge of different grades of paper &amp; board used in packaging.</li><li>Good negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>Basic understanding of inventory management and costing.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP software.</li><li>Analytical thinking and supplier relationship management.</li></ul>Qualification &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Education: Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management.</li><li>Experience: 2&ndash;5 years in paper procurement or printing &amp; packaging industry.</li><li>Preferred: Experience in dealing with paper mills, dealers, and transport coordination.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;30,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
