Crye-Leike&reg; Insurance Agency is seeking a Retention Specialist to become a part of our organization.Come join our team in helping protect our customers against the unexpected, while developing your career.Duties include:<ul><li>Work with clients on ways to enhance existing coverage.</li><li>Look for opportunities to add additional lines of coverage.</li><li>Encourage referrals from existing clients.</li><li>Handle difficult issues/customers effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Meet and exceed monthly retention goal set by Management.</li><li>Develop aggressive retention strategies based on customer feedback.</li><li>Review remarketed home &amp; automobile renewal quotes and inform customers for final approval in order to retain business.</li><li>Analyze customer feedback and develop new techniques to ensure customer retention.</li><li>Ensure proper timing of customer outreach of at least 1 month prior to renewal in order to prevent loss of client.</li><li>Educate and explain to customers about insurance coverage to promote trust and transparency.</li><li>Responsible for reaching out to customers after presenting quotes with calls, text, and/or email to discuss renewal decisions.</li><li>Responsible for any prior rewrite policies cancelled due to underwriting, in the preceding two months.</li><li>Responsible for quoting renewal personal lines policies other than home and automobile unless customer contacts company within 35 days of renewal and/or requests call back immediately.</li><li>Quote personal lines new business for customers contacting agency as assigned .</li><li>Attend, participate and report in department meetings and corporate initiatives, as requested.</li><li>Attend carrier meetings as requested.</li><li>Exercise independent decision-making abilities relating to client analysis of coverage and recommending coverage needs, as appropriate.</li><li>Provide administrative support on other tasks, such as assigned special projects and development of new ideas/services, as requested.</li><li>Become proficient in our Agency Management System, other software applications used and Crye-Leike policies and procedures.</li><li>Take and/or attend webinars or classes as assigned to keep abreast of new products available for clients and acquire additional insurance knowledge and expertise, as opportunities occur.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Property &amp; Casualty Insurance License required.</li><li>A Minimum of 1 year experience in an independent insurance agency in the field of Property &amp; Casualty Insurance and customer service &ndash; other combinations of work and/or experience will be considered.</li><li>Effective, professional communication skills &ndash; oral, written and interpersonal with the ability to develop client relationships.</li><li>Applied EPIC agency management system proficiency is strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience quoting personal lines insurance with multiple insurance carriers required.</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent education and related training.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office suite of software.</li><li>High level of organizational ability, self discipline and motivation.</li><li>Solution driven problem solving skills and analytical ability.</li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently, applying education and experience to achieve outstanding results.</li><li>Demonstrate highest level technical and cognitive abilities to ensure accuracy and precision.</li><li>Team player with a strong work ethic.</li><li>Demonstrated success in overall customer service.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>property and casualty insurance and customer service: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Property and Casualty Insurance license (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
