Business Analyst – Systems & Logic

Position: Fleet Maintenance Executive Location: Mumbai Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Industry: Cold Chain Transportation / Temperature-Controlled LogisticsPosition OverviewWe are looking for a skilled and reliable Fleet Maintenance Executive to oversee the maintenance, servicing, and upkeep of our cold chain transportation vehicles and reefer units. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of reefer systems, truck maintenance, vendor coordination, and preventive maintenance planning. This role is crucial for ensuring vehicle safety, temperature compliance, and uninterrupted fleet operations.Key Responsibilities - Vehicle &amp; Reefer Maintenance<ul><li>Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks, reefer units, and mounted containers.</li><li>Inspect vehicles regularly to identify mechanical issues, temperature faults, or breakdown risks.</li><li>Coordinate reefer servicing, calibration, gas refilling, compressor checks, and electrical repairs.</li><li>Ensure timely repair of breakdown vehicles and minimize downtime.</li></ul>Vendor &amp; Workshop Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with authorized service centers, workshops, and spare suppliers for vehicle and reefer repairs.</li><li>Negotiate pricing, compare quotations, and evaluate quality of vendor work.</li><li>Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintain an updated inventory list.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Safety<ul><li>Maintain vehicle documents&mdash;PUC, insurance, fitness, permits, and statutory compliance.</li><li>Ensure reefer units meet temperature, calibration, and hygiene standards.</li><li>Conduct safety checks on brakes, tyres, lights, engine oil, coolant, and electrical systems.</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain detailed records of maintenance schedules, service history, and repair logs.</li><li>Track fuel usage, mileage, frequent breakdown patterns, and maintenance costs.</li><li>Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance MIS reports for management review.</li></ul>Coordination with Operations<ul><li>Work closely with fleet operations team to plan downtime and schedule servicing without disrupting dispatch.</li><li>Support drivers with technical guidance in case of breakdowns during transit.</li><li>Monitor GPS alerts and reefer temperature alarms to take timely action.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet or reefer maintenance (cold chain preferred).</li><li>Strong mechanical knowledge of trucks, reefer units (Thermo King, Carrier, Zanotti, etc.), and diesel engines.</li><li>Hands-on experience with electrical systems, cooling units, and preventive maintenance processes.</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel, reporting, and documentation.</li><li>Ability to handle emergency breakdowns efficiently.</li><li>Strong coordination and follow-up skills.</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Technical expertise in vehicle &amp; reefer systems</li><li>Problem-solving and quick decision-making</li><li>Vendor negotiation and management</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Time and cost management</li><li>Reliability and accountability</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹15,363.52 - ₹30,152.40 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
