Job Summary
 The role of the Resort Operator is to direct incoming phone calls utilizing the multi-line phone system as well as provide information to on-sight/incoming guests and offer administrative support to the department.
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities
 <ul>
<li>Answer high volume of inbound calls and maintain a response rate swiftly in accordance with agreed standards via a multi-line phone system.</li>
<li>Process outgoing resort mail, shipping and coordinating postage billing via USPS, UPS and FedEx Services.</li>
<li>Assist with data entry and various resort projects.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain records by entering information from received calls, where necessary.</li>
<li>Dispatch Security, Guest Services, and Facilities to handle guest needs.</li>
<li>Assist Reservation Sales Manager when needed.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

Job Specifications
 
Competencies: 
<ul>
<li>Previous experience with SMS a plus.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.</li>
<li>Clear and concise verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.</li>
<li>Ability to speak clearly in a well-modulated and pleasant voice.</li>
<li>Able to analyze, interpret, and present data in various formats.</li>
<li>Able to work with computers, faxes, copiers, scanners, and various other technologies in office and on resort.</li>
<li>Maintain office, employee and company confidentiality at all times.</li>
<li>Dependable and meets goals.</li>
<li>Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.</li>
</ul>
Education: 
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent required.</li>
</ul>
Physical & Other Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift up to 25lbs.</li>
<li>Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information.</li>
<li>Ability to work at a computer station for majority of workday.</li>
<li>Evenings, weekends, and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.</li>
<li>Must have excellent attendance and conduct record for consideration.</li>
<li>Non-smoking candidates preferred.</li>
