 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support the day-to-day logistics activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Daily management, coordination of international &amp; domestic shipments with shippers/warehouse, and carriers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and monitor/or tender shipments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Source carriers and negotiate rates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track and trace all shipments and load status.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Confirm rates with carriers.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for cost containment of shipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective method of delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lane analysis is required in order to select the most appropriate mode.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage shipper and carrier relationships.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Associate or bachelor&rsquo;s degree
 </li>
 <li>
 4+ years of experience in freight auditing, logistics accounting, or transportation invoice processing
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with FTL, LTL, NVOCC, air freight, small package, warehousing, import/export consolidations, world distributions, and project cargo/heavy haul
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Goal-oriented &amp; an organized team player
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
