<p>
CSCI is seeking a Financial Analyst to support a Department of War (DoW) client in a critical modernization initiative. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial systems and processes to assist with data cleansing and conversion activities in preparation for implementing a Department of War (DoW), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position requires a strong understanding of legacy financial systems and processes.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Responsibilities</b></h3>
<ul><li>Analyze existing financial data for accuracy and completeness</li>
<li>Identify and resolve discrepancies in legacy systems</li>
<li>Prepare datasets for seamless integration into the new ERP environment</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with federal financial standards throughout the conversion process</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Minimum Requirements</b></h3>
<ul><li>Experience with DoW Financial Systems such as:
<ul><li>Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS)</li>
<li>Navy ERP</li>
<li>General Accounting and Finance System - Reengineered (GAFS-R)</li>
<li>Transportation Financial Management System (TFMS)</li>
</ul></li><li>Strong general ledger and financial reporting experience</li>
<li>Ability to obtain a DoW Security Clearance</li>
<li>U.S. Citizenship is mandatory</li>
<li>Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving</li>
<li>Ability to work with clients to understand their needs</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Professional presence</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred Skills</b></h3>
<ul><li>Knowledge of federal financial regulations and audit requirements</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Familiarity with SFIS (Standard Financial Information Structure) and SLOA (Standard Line of Accounting)</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently</li>
<li>Strong customer and vendor relationship skills</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies</li>
<li>Motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value</li>
<li>Past experience working with a federal agency</li>
<li>Department of Defense experience is a plus!<br>
