CSO is looking to hire an Interior Design who will focus on a variety of complex and rewarding projects, such as: Butler University&rsquo;s Lacy School of Business, MJ Insurance&rsquo;s corporate headquarters, IBJ Media&rsquo;s corporate headquarters, and the IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Candidates should have a passion for design excellence, deep understanding of documentation and detail execution, and an eagerness to capture a client&rsquo;s vision and communicate it through design.</p><div><br>

Responsibilities:</b></p><br>

Collaborate closely with design leaders from design concept through completed construction<br>

Full construction documentation and permitting, client and contractor communications<br>

Select and document complete FF&amp;E packages<br>

Select and document finish palettes<br>

Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Interior Design<br>

3+ years of relevant commercial design experience<br>

Skilled in design presentations and graphics<br>

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, Illustrator<br>

Knowledge of design documentation and execution<br>

Solid knowledge of space planning and building code and standards<br>

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills<br>

Interior Designer

<p><b>Overview</b><br/>We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Architect/Project Manager to lead innovative architectural projects from conception through completion. Join us to shape inspiring environments while advancing your career in a collaborative and energetic setting.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead the design development process using AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp to produce accurate drawings and compelling visual presentations.</li><li>Manage project schedules meticulously, coordinating timelines across multiple phases including design, permitting, construction documentation, and construction management.</li><li>Oversee all aspects of construction management and renovation projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, codes, contractor interactions, and client expectations.</li><li>Develop detailed construction estimates and budgets; monitor project costs through effective budgeting strategies and cost control measures.</li><li>Facilitate negotiations with clients, contractors, consultants, and vendors to secure contracts and resolve project challenges efficiently.</li><li>Utilize Bluebeam for document review and markup and coordination during the design process.</li><li>Coordinate with business development teams to identify new opportunities, prepare proposals, and foster long-term client relationships.</li><li>Supervise drafting teams and coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with project goals.</li><li>Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress, verify compliance with design intent, and address any issues promptly.</li><li>Manage contracts related to architectural services and construction work; ensure all contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.</li></ul><p><b>Skills</b></p><ul><li>Proficiency in project scheduling tools and techniques to keep projects on track from start to finish.</li><li>Strong expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and CAD software for drafting and visualization.</li><li>Deep understanding of construction processes including renovation projects; experience with construction estimating and budgeting is essential.</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills for contracts management with clients, contractors, and vendors.</li><li>Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, permits, and compliance standards relevant to architectural projects.</li><li>Ability to lead project management efforts effectively while fostering collaboration among team members.</li><li>Experience in interior design elements related to architectural projects is a plus.</li><li>Strong communication skills for clear client presentations and team coordination.
