Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Probate and Elder Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of estate planning, elder law, and related legal practices. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to our attorneys and clients.We pride ourselves on how we treat our clients and one another, and we guard our environment carefully. You will not be a fit if you even THINK this describes you.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of probate documents, Medicaid applications, and estate planning materials.</li><li>Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and maintained in compliance with legal standards.</li><li>Contact clients to gather necessary information for case management.</li><li>Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and required documentation.</li><li>Organize and manage schedules for court appearances, meetings, and deadlines.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven paralegal experience with a focus on probate and elder law preferred.</li><li>Experience with spreadsheets necessary.</li><li>Strong proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all written materials.</li><li>Effective project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in filing and document management.</li><li>Experience with data entry and clerical tasks within a law office environment.</li><li>Strong phone etiquette for client interactions and correspondence.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
