<p><b>
Position Description:</b> Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri invites applications for a highly organized and service-focused individual to coordinate and oversee all circulation processes at the C-SC Library. The Library Services and Circulation Coordinator will support the C-SC community by performing a wide variety of general library work (see responsibilities below). Additionally, special projects (e.g, digitization, weeding, archives maintenance) regularly arise in both the library and C-SC Archives, and additional duties or responsibilities may emerge as related and necessary. The Library Services and Circulation Coordinator reports to the Library Director.</p>
<p><b>
Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provides friendly and welcoming assistance in-person, on the phone, or via email to patrons with general information desk questions, particularly as they seek, find, check out, or renew materials</li>
<li>Serves as MOBIUS liaison for all circulation problems/queries/processing</li>
<li>Oversees the maintenance of the Course Reserves collection</li>
<li>Manages electronic database and serials subscription services</li>
<li>Prepares statistics for assessment, annual internal, state, or federal reports</li>
<li>Provides assistance with InterLibrary Loan requests from external libraries</li>
<li>Provides assistance with new book processing</li>
<li>Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises student workers</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree required; MLS or equivalent desired</li>
<li>Familiarity with basic office software/programs (Google Workspace; Microsoft Office; Zoom); familiarity with Library Management Systems (FOLIO, Millenium/Sierra, SirsiDynix, or OCLC) preferred</li>
<li>Ability to provide friendly and welcoming service to students, faculty, staff, and community members</li>
<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Outstanding personal organization skills</li>
<li>Must be able to carry up to 15-20 lbs. up and down stairs</li>
</ul>
