Diagnoses and troubleshoots minor technical issues, documents occurrences, and maintains detailed records for tracking and analysis</li><li>
Develops and delivers training sessions at various levels on department-specific applications and technologies, both on an ad-hoc and scheduled basis; creates and updates training materials including manuals, guides, screen captures, and instructional videos</li><li>
Provides operational support before, during, and after emergency-level events, including disaster recovery system deployments; coordinates closely with internal departments and ITS to ensure technology readiness and performance during critical events</li><li>
Assists in the design and testing of disaster recovery systems; ensures field equipment and software are operational and deployment-ready</li><li>

<p></p><div><div>Graduation from an accredited two-year college or technical school with a degree in an information technology related discipline or field and two (2) years of experience supporting an information technology environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</div></div><p></p>

The NCDOJ Division of Criminal Information certification is required within 6 months of hire. The SunGard OSSI System Administrator Certification or its equivalent, if available, is required within 6 months of hire.</p><p>

<p></p><div><div>The Civil Office of the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is responsible for the service of civil papers in Cumberland County. Under common law, the sheriff is bound to provide prompt, efficient civil process to the citizens of Cumberland County. North Carolina The law of civil procedure dictates how these civil processes are to be served in this state. North Carolina General Statue 162-14, states that if a process is presented to the Sheriff for service, the Sheriff is legally obligated to attempt service.</div></div><p></p>

<p></p><div><div>Under general direction, the purpose of this position is to perform moderately complex secretarial and general office assistance work in the Sheriff&rsquo;s Office. The employee answers telephones, responds to inquiries, composes and types material, establishes and maintains files, routes mail and other correspondence, prepares and maintains records and computer databases, etc. The employee is also responsible for reviewing material prepared by others for accuracy, correcting as necessary, and handling confidential information. Duties require the incumbent to have considerable knowledge of the programs, policies, and procedures of the office assigned. <i>Performs related work as directed.</i></div></div><p></p>
