The Mid-Level Software Engineering position is a full-time exempt position. The individual will perform software development to include developing software code architecture and translating system and subsystem software design requirements into code. The Mid-Level Software Engineer will report to a Team Lead.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Responsibilities</b></p><div><ul><li>
Execute software development using real-time embedded C++ on of computing platforms running LINUX/UNIX operating systems.</li><li>
Execute real-time software design to recognize the performance implications associated with specific detail implications</li><li>
Update, maintain, and utilize various simulation tools to support data analysis</li><li>
Participate in the Agile Scrum Process support to rapidly design, code and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers</li><li>
Lead the development of document and present technical results to technical leads, management, and/or customers</li><li>
Execute software engineering tasks across all phases of development, requirements development, design, code, test, and integration</li><li>

Skills and Competencies</b></p><div><ul><li>
BS degree in Computer Science, Scientific, or an appropriate Engineering discipline</li><li>
Minimum of 5 years of experience with real-time software development using C++ required, preferably on DoD program</li><li>
Experience developing and implementing complex software solutions</li><li>
Experience developing software in a team-based development environment such as Agile Scrum</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with the following Software Tools: Version Control (Git, SVN, ClearCase or equivalent), Java, Google Test</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse, MS Visual Code</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with the following Tools: Git, Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence), Jenkins, Eclipse, DOORS, Rhapsody</li><li>
Demonstrated experience with Linux/Unix operating systems</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required</li><li>
Must be a self-starter and can understand and navigate through complex code bases</li></ul></div><p></p><p><b><br>

Software Engineer-Mid Level

The Software Engineer II position is a full-time exempt position. A professional who has some experience in development and execution of software programs and applies government or industry standard engineering tools and processes in the execution of program objectives. The individual be a part of an engineering team performing software development of modeling and simulation tools. Travel to customer and contractor sites for technical and programmatic meetings is required.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Roles &amp; Responsibilities</b></div><div><ul><li>
Work as a member of a team to perform development and on-time delivery of technical software products to our customers.</li><li>
Develop/Design/Modify test software for modeling flight vehicles.</li><li>
Support code documentation and present analysis results to technical leads.</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Implement disciplined coding standards to ensure robust reliable software.</li><li>
Ensure corporate policies and procedures are adhered to in the day-to-day performance of duties.</li><li>
Support program meetings and technical reviews with internal and external customers.</li><li>

Skills and Competencies</b></div><br>

Ability to innovate and adapt to develop products that meet customer needs.</li><li>
Experience with software configuration management tools including git and Gitlab.</li><li>
Experience with C++ and Python required.</li><li>
Experience with Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code required.</li><li>
Experience with GCC and MSVC.</li><li>
Experience with CMake is desired.</li><li>
Experience working in an Agile Scrum software development environment is desired.</li><li>
Experience working with 6 Degree-of-Freedom models and algorithms for implementation in simulation and control of aerospace vehicles is desired.</li><li>
