 Position Overview
 
 
 
 
 Cumulus Media | Westwood One
 
 has an immediate opening for a full-time Full Stack Web Developer to support the Engineering team in maintaining &gt;99.999 reliability of broadcast systems. The ideal candidate will be action oriented, customer focused, have great communication skills, be an active listener, have the ability to work as a team, problem solve and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is a hybrid role, with ability to work both onsite and remotely.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design, develop, test, and deploy robust web applications with a focus on high availability and reliability for broadcast systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our web applications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize proactive monitoring tools and develop solutions to ensure exceptional quality of service and system stability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Westwood One Engineering, IT, and Operations departments to integrate broadcast systems and software seamlessly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with the VP of Network Technology on daily activities and project milestones.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage in coding, testing, and production rollout of various software solutions, including new web features and applications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues at the source code level for web applications and related systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist colleagues with technical issues and implement effective resolutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage multiple situations effectively, especially during emergency scenarios, with a logical and methodical approach.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Associate of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrable expertise in web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript (jQuery), and PHP.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience with Ruby on Rails and general Ruby scripting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git/GitHub.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in database administration with experience in MySQL, MS-SQL, and PostgreSQL.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Microsoft Windows (10, 11) and Server operating systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu and Red Hat-based distributions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in a DevOps environment, including familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and services like S3, EC2, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and/or Docker is highly recommended.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Commitment to continuous education to maintain knowledge of the latest systems and technologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work may be performed in a Network Operations Center and/or a remote location.
 </li>
 <li>
 Regular and consistent attendance is required, including availability for maintenance window work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be a self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve medium-to-complex technical issues.
