The Role:
<p>
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Critical Systems / Data Center team and play a supporting role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting and high-profile projects in the Data Centre and Critical Systems fields, both in the India, APAC and internationally.</p><p>
As part of our established team of expert engineers, and working closely with colleagues of various disciplines, you will prepare both scheme and detailed designs from feasibility and concept through to detailed engineering design, and site support.</p><p>
You will also have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects, and will be supported towards chartership in future.</p><p>
You will support and be supported by senior staff within the team.</p>
The Skills:
<p>
Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng, BEng, or equivalent) and having gained Minimum 6 experience in a Mechanical Engineering designer role within a Data Centre/ Critical Systems and Building Services HVAC industry context. Candidate should have experience in working with Consultancy firm for minimum four (4) years into HVAC designing as a compulsory requirement.</p><p>
You have proven ability in delivering creative design solutions, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and crucially &ndash; you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.</p><p>
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills in English and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.</p><ul><li>
Throrough Knowledge in HVAC design, System sizing, calculation and basic knowledge to work on PHE &amp; Firefighting inline to local authority requirements, and infrastructure requirements (local experience is essential).</li><li>
Prior work experience and understanding of CAD, NAVIS, REVIT/BIM delivery.</li><li>
Given the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role, excellent communication and project management skills are essential.</li><li>
Experience tin to local codes &amp; standards of Mechanical Design with statutory regulations.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
You have proven ability in producing low energy, creative design solutions, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design development and crucially &ndash; you have a passion for creative and intuitive design.</p><p>
Given the collaborative and client focussed nature of this role, excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges are essential.</p><p>

Basic electrical systems</li><li>
Mechanical cooling and ventilation systems and schematics.</li><li>
Schematics of chilled water system, ventilation system.</li><li>
Heat load, Ventilation, Pump head, Static Pressure, System sizing Calculations &amp; Standards of relevant systems.</li><li>
Knowledge of System operating procedure of HVAC systems.</li><li>
Basics of Cross discipline</li><li>
Strong organisational and communicative skills are required.</li><li>
Ability to establish smooth working relationships and resolve interpersonal conflicts.</li><li>
Candidate should be able to travel to the site locations across the region if required.</li><li>

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Doha office and take a key role in shaping our growing Civil Engineering and Infrastructure capability.</div><div></div><div><br>
You will be part of a team delivering some of the most prestigious and complex projects across Qatar, UAE, KSA, and internationally.</div><div></div><div><br>
Working alongside talented engineers, technicians, and colleagues across multiple disciplines, you will contribute to the delivery of technically excellent, commercially successful projects.</div><div></div><div><br>

The Skills:

Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng), and either chartered or working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent), you will have proven experience in civil and infrastructure engineering within a consultancy environment.</div><div></div><div><br>
You should be well-versed in infrastructure design software, with practical expertise in grading and earthworks for external works, wet utilities design including stormwater, sewerage, and domestic water networks, as well as coordinating dry utility requirements in relation to civil works.</div><div></div><div><br>
Experience of delivering projects within the region is mandatory, together with involvement across all stages of development from Concept and Detailed Masterplanning through to Detailed Design and Construction, with a strong understanding of authority approval processes.</div><div></div><div><br>
Local registration with the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning (MMUP) is highly desirable.
</div><div>You will also have experience integrating infrastructure within building and development plot projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and other specialists.</div><div></div><div><br>
The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with proven managerial ability, demonstrating a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.</div><div></div><div><br>
You should be capable of managing multiple large-scale projects while guiding and mentoring less experienced engineers to help the team deliver beyond client expectations. Above all, you will share Cundall&rsquo;s passion for creative, sustainable, and intuitive design.</div><div></div><div><br>
