ABOUT THE ROLE</b><br>
We&rsquo;re seeking an Assistant Project Manager ready to positively impact a complex construction project. At Cupertino Electric, Assistant Project Managers (APM) are key to coordination between the field team, project team, and our customers. APMs are expected to maintain exceptional working partnerships with vendors and subcontractors and assist in the review and tracking of project activities, including request for proposals, change orders, submittals, tracking logs, and related project documents. You&rsquo;ll facilitate learning for yourself and others, prepare/drive/document team meetings, and direct the work of Project Engineers and Project Coordinators in partnership with the Project Manager and field team.</div><ul><li>
 Lead team meetings and provide guidance to Project Engineers and Project Coordinators in partnership with the Project Manager and field team.</li><li>
 Partners with scheduling department to gather all data required to populate CEI schedule.</li><li>
 Identifies cost impacts associated with RFIs, submittals, and design changes and provides timely notification.</li><li>
 Prices change orders consistently and in a timely manner for project manager review and approval.</li><li>
 Manages close out documents.</li><li>
 Coordinate commissioning activities w/ 3rd party. Tracks and follows up on open items.</li><li>
 Maintain strong working partnerships with vendors and subcontractors. Coordinates accurate material releases on time and consistent with project documents. Track material releases, changes and coordinate delivery with construction schedule.</li></ul><div><b>
ABOUT YOU</b><br>
You bring innovative and entrepreneurial thinking to a project with prior experience supervising and/or providing guidance to others. You possess technical knowledge and communication skills, which are vital to an Assistant Project Manager&rsquo;s success. You have experience providing in-house support to Project Managers such as coordinating, tracking quantities complete for billing, and managing project activities and documentation. You bring a willingness to learn and are on the lookout for ways to improve existing processes.</div><div>

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN</b><br>

You will be interacting extensively with the CEI Production Team, customers, and vendor and subcontractor partners, giving you opportunities to cultivate relationships and build your professional network.<br>

<b>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</b><br>
<i>Any combination of education and experience that, in the sole judgment and discretion of Company, would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications may qualify.</i></div><div><b>
Education:</b><b> </b>High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.</div><div><b>
Licensure/Certifications:</b><b> </b>None required.</div><div><b>
Experience:</b><b> </b>Three (3) or more years of experience in electrical construction, or MEP experience in general contracting plus other three (3) years in general construction and/or management roles together with qualifications listed above. Civil and/or structural experience a plus.</div><div><b>
Driving Record:</b><b> </b>Valid state-issued driver&rsquo;s license and satisfactory driving record.<br>
