THE ENERGY TEAM</b><br>
Our Energy Group at CEI builds projects from the field to the grid. Whether it&rsquo;s a solar, battery storage, substation, EV charging, microgrid or converter station project, our skilled project managers, engineers and field employees deliver when it matters most. We work with customers on programs of all sizes&mdash;those spanning several smaller sites or spanning several thousand acres. Besides building some of the nation&rsquo;s largest utility-scale solar plants and installing more EV charging stations in California than any other contractor, we are dedicated to running a business that is environmentally responsible.</p><p><b>
ABOUT THE ROLE</b><br>
The Pre-Construction Project Manager will manage the startup phase of major projects. They will assist with maintaining CEI standardization among remote, new project teams on PV and BESS projects.</p><p><b>
Travel:</b> to jobsites as required</p><p>
Support project team at a program level with the following;</p><ul><li>
Document &amp; process control to standardize CEI jobsites</li><li>
Guide &amp; manage mobilization including IT coordination, file server setup, job site office setup, local vendor identification &amp; selection</li><li>
Work closely with Project Executive, Procurement, &amp; Pre-Con team for long drive material procurement.</li><li>
Manage outside engineering subcontractors &amp; supervise both reoccurring internal &amp; external (client facing) engineering meetings.</li><li>
Manage AHJ permitting as required &amp; coordinate permit comment responses.</li><li>
Review and manage compliance requirements throughout the design &amp; mobilization phase</li><li>
Aggregate divisional material and service requirements if possible</li><li>
Coordination/Support of newly hired project team member</li></ul><p><b>
Assist with Budgeting and Scheduling</b></p><ul><li>
Coordination with AHJ&rsquo;s, Client, consultants and project team during the proposal development, negotiation and pre-mobilization phase</li><li>
Research/develop and qualify vendors, consultants and subcontractors to support estimating and project teams</li><li>
Sequence and prioritize activities per project schedule and manage subcontractor and vendor deliverable dates to meet schedule requirements</li><li>
Evaluate subcontractor &amp; vendor quotes and compare to budget documents and conformance with project documents.</li></ul><p><b>
ABOUT YOU</b></p><ul><li>
Experience with quote analysis and major buyout.</li><li>
Knowledge of contract interpretation &amp; requirements.</li><li>
Excellent oral and written skills required.</li><li>

The Junior BIM Operator joins our team with little to no BIM experience, and gains skills while working on complex electrical construction projects, developing 3D models and 2D installation drawings using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam Revu. This position collaborates with BIM Operators, Coordinators and Managers with the intent to learn and grow.</p><p>
Reports to BIM Manager in charge of training.</p><ul><li>

Creates and maintains 2D installation drawings from 3D models</li><li>
Performs model population including conduits, trays, equipment, fixtures, and supports</li><li>
