Position Summary
We&rsquo;re looking for a detail-oriented Presentation Designer to support our market research team on a temporary basis. This role focuses on transforming research outputs into clear, visually compelling, and client-ready presentations&mdash;primarily in PowerPoint. You&rsquo;ll partner closely with internal teams to bring data, insights, and storytelling together in a polished, on-brand format.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Design and format client-facing presentations in PowerPoint (PPT)</li><li>
Design presentations that align with Curion and client brand guidelines, adapting style as needed while maintaining consistency, clarity, and quality across deliverables</li><li>
Translate complex research findings into clear, visually engaging slides</li><li>
Improve slide layouts, visual hierarchy, and overall storytelling flow</li><li>
Create charts, graphs, and simple data visualizations from research outputs</li><li>
Refine and enhance existing decks for clarity, consistency, and polish</li><li>
Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately, often within tight timelines</li><li>
Ensure final deliverables are error-free and presentation-ready</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Proven experience designing professional PowerPoint presentations, including the ability to build and edit presentations directly in PowerPoint (not solely designing in tools like Figma or Canva)</li><li>
Experience in market research, consulting, or agency environments</li><li>
Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy</li><li>
Ability to take rough content (notes, drafts, data) and turn it into polished slides</li><li>
Experience working with data-heavy or insight-driven content</li><li>
Familiarity with data visualization best practices</li><li>
Experience working with templates and brand systems</li><li>
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines</li><li>
Strong communication skills and ability to interpret feedback</li><li>
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tools (e.g., Figma, Canva)</li><li>
Basic knowledge of Excel for charting</li></ul>
Education (Preferred)
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience. We value demonstrated experience and portfolio quality over formal education.

Preferred Portfolio Requirements (Strongly Recommended)
Candidates are encouraged to provide a portfolio showcasing relevant presentation design work. Strong candidates will include examples that demonstrate:<ul><li>
Client-ready PowerPoint presentations (not just visual samples or one-off slides)</li><li>
Ability to design within different brand guidelines, including adapting to client-specific styles (not just a single personal design style)</li><li>
Data-heavy slides, including charts, graphs, and insight-driven storytelling</li><li>
Before-and-after examples showing how rough or unstructured content was transformed into polished deliverables</li><li>
Strong layout, visual hierarchy, and clarity of messaging</li><li>
Work that adheres to or builds upon brand guidelines or templates</li></ul>
For the Temporary Presentation Designer, we offer a starting hourly pay range of $32.00-$36.00 based on the qualifications and experience of each individual. This is a temporary position, deemed non-exempt for overtime purposes, and, therefore, is subject to overtime compensation.
