Fast-paced, small, centrally located law firm seeking a bright, organized, and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to join our firm. This Legal Assistant position will specialize in Personal Injury and Aviation litigation. The Legal Assistant will handle a small volume caseload; however, the cases require extensive work. This is an in-office role; hybrid or remote work is not available. You will provide administrative and pre-litigation support to a partner at our firm, and assist in various legal tasks in preparation for litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and word processing skills and be eager to learn.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain and organize client files both electronically and physically.</li><li>Coordinate attorney schedule, including court hearings, depositions, meetings, and deadlines.</li><li>Assist in trial and deposition preparation, handling exhibits, and organizing meetings.</li><li>Assist in legal research, preparation of legal documents, and case management.</li><li>Perform general firm administrative tasks, like answering phones, whenever necessary.</li></ul>Experience:This is an entry-level position; no prior legal experience is required. Should have proficiency in proofreading, editing, and writing. Must be proficient in MS Word and be tech savvy. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are preferred. We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, enjoys learning about Arizona Law, and is looking to grow with our firm!Education:Associate or Bachelor's degree (preferred).This is a full-time position with regular business hours.
