Position Overview</h2>
This is not a &ldquo;cut clips and add subtitles&rdquo; role.
The Video Editor at WFS is responsible for turning raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-retention, viral-ready content across platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, while also supporting long-form YouTube content.
You will be editing content for:<ul><li>

Create short-form viral content for:<ul><li>
Instagram Reels</li><li>
TikTok</li><li>

Edit long-form YouTube content with strong pacing and retention</li><li>
Turn long-form content (podcasts, calls, trainings) into multiple high-performing clips</li><li>
Identify and build strong hooks in the first 2&ndash;3 seconds</li><li>
Add captions, b-roll, sound effects, pattern interrupts, and motion elements strategically</li><li>
Adapt editing style based on content type:<ul><li>
Viral / high-energy</li><li>
Business / authority</li></ul></li><li>
Collaborate with leadership on content direction and messaging</li><li>
Organize footage and maintain clean editing workflows</li><li>
Iterate quickly based on feedback and performance</li><li>
Stay current on trends, formats, and what is working across platforms</li><li>
